no luxury, but price/performance good

Let's start with the really good experiences: The location was really good, because it is short distance from the train station, bus station and old town. Communication with the landlord was quite excellent - extremely nice, communicative and nimble in response times. The self-checkinn went absolutely smoothly.
The rooms are large and the facilities were good and functional. However, if you need luxury, you can book somewhere else. We cut corners because of the soundscape. Road noise was not inconsiderable and we had a road construction site just at the moment outside...
Therefore not 5 stars...
Conclusion: We would book there again!

UNREASONABLE

I can't believe what you get here:
Beds you have to make yourself with cheapest unpleasant bed linen,
The duvet has holes, the towels are hard as a board,
A cheap mattress that has had its best time.
The wall has cracks,
A scent diffuser pollutes the air in the room, but actually it is supposed to cover up other bad smells,
The parquet floor is partially broken and foamed at the edge with something.
A kind of shared flat with shared bathroom and toilet with three bedrooms and a kitchen-living room through which everyone has to go.
Totally overpriced. 180 € for a room plus outdoor parking 15 €!
Never again, and the good reviews are a mystery to us!

For sightseeing great location near the bus and train station. Friendly and beautiful.

Within walking distance is a supermarket, several nice cafes as well as a bakery directly accessible from the Rosengarten Rooms. You don't need a car because you live in the spacious apartment which is located in the center of Bolzano. We cooked in the apartment, the kitchen is super equipped. Clean bathroom as well as pleasant mattress. The owner is very friendly and gives all sorts of tips so we had a great stay. We will come back in the summer!

A bed.

Old aparment in bad condition and cheap beds and stuff. Location is good but being a really small town, all places in Bolzano should be ok. Shared kitchen and toilet are ok but at the risk of having to talk with strangers.
Would not have gone there if known how bad place this is.

A place to lie down

Old apartments that have 2 guestrooms and shared kitchen, toilet, shower. Squeaky old parguet floor in living areas so going to the toilet in the middle of the night will wake up everyone. A lot of noise coming from the outside also. Where we live there is central heating everywhere so did not realise that guests are supposed to put heater on or be cold.
They also ask to send pictures of ID by mail which I do not consider safe and propably violates GDPR principles.
We came here because it had high rating here (4,5) but found the place to be nothing we expected.
