“Comfort, location and hospitality of a high standard”
“We stayed from 5 to 8 March at the Hotel Funivia and the experience was really very positive. The location is exceptional, directly on the slopes, perfect for those who want to ski without movement and enjoy the beautiful Stelvio slope.
The property is well-organised and offers a ground floor spa accessible to all, as well as a rooftop sauna overlooking the slopes available with paid access - a real added value for relaxing after a day on the snow.
Staff and owners very kind and always available for any need. Structure that I definitely recommend to those who want to experience Bormio with comfort and quality.” ⭐

Wonderful experience.
Wonderful experience. The hotel is located a few minutes from the center of Bormio and the ski slopes.
Our room overlooked the snowy slopes offering a beautiful view.
The property is equipped with every comfort and service: a restaurant, a gym and a fitness room, along with a small Spa, which restore the mind and body.
During the week some regenerating fitness classes were organized in which I participated. There is the possibility to book lessons with their ski instructor, with whom we had a very good time and who we recommend.
A special mention, what really makes your stay at the Funivia hotel unique, are the people who work and manage it. All the staff were always kind and welcoming.
The owners made us feel at home and were also available to accompany us by car several times, always discreetly and without ever being intrusive.
I highly recommend this hotel, which offers all the attention of a four-star hotel and maintains those gestures of love and hospitality that only a family-run hotel can give.

Siamo davvero felici che il soggiorno sia stato così positivo e che abbia apprezzato la disponibilità, la preparazione e l’efficienza del nostro staff.
La vicinanza agli impianti sciistici è sicuramente uno dei nostri punti di forza: ci troviamo proprio all’arrivo della Pista Stelvio, pista olimpica, e ora che la neve è finalmente arrivata è possibile sciare fino all’hotel.
Grazie per il consiglio e per la fiducia: la aspettiamo con grande piacere per il suo prossimo soggiorno a Bormio!

Comfortable, clean and good value at the foot of the mountain.
Close to the skiing area. You have to walk to the ski lift about 300 meters. In case of proper snow condition you can ski to the hotel. We had no luck with the snow.
Our rooms were renovated. It had very comfortable beds and so many cupboards that we could not fill up. It was really spacious. There was no noise at all. We didn't understand why the water tap was located opposite the shower entrance if there was no door on it (large walk-in shower). One of the bathroom doors was sticking in the floor. The room had a good view to the mountain and had a large balcony. The centre is in walking distance and many good restaurant are in the town. The cleaning is perfect, we had always a tidy room when we came back form breakfast or skiing. The restaurant is more fine dining than a place serving local Italian specialties. The bar has no good drink and cocktails selection, but it is comfortable and has a cozy atmosphere. The ski room and the swimming pool is not modern and not very nice, but usable what it is intended for. The breakfast was great and they had many gluten-free options. The staff were really kind every time and solved any question during our stay.
