Please read this before booking... do not make my mistake
My Brother and I stayed at this BNB because our usual place for accommodation had no availability. We needed a double size room so we we were at the top level of the building. I will explain the positives and negatives of the accommodation.
Positives
*The room was clean and modern with an air conditioner.
*The owners of the business were helpful on the first day when we required help.
*Morning snack at a cafe on the street (offered as part of the stay) was good.
Negatives
*No Lift - This alone made our stay extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. Being on the top level, each day we had to climb about 8-10 flights of stairs. The first 2 times it was bearable, but after that it was extremely tiresome.
Leaving the room became a real chore because there was no lift, and being summer time made it worse. We had to haul ourselves up and down flights of stairs every single time we wanted to go anywhere.
If people were to stay on the first or second floor this could be ok, but DO NOT stay on the top floor.
Unfortunately, the lack of a lift significantly overshadowed our stay.
*Top floor apartment discomfort – with our stay being in summer time it was very hot in Bovalino. Whilst there was an air conditioner in the room, the apartment on the top floor it was like glass house, and it was really uncomfortable. The air conditioner was on pretty much 24 hours a day.
* Amenities - On arrival there were 2 bottles of water in the room. But that was it. The water was not replenished. It was extremely hot the week we stayed and it would have been nice to have water each day.
*Access to property not the easiest – the property is located in a narrow side street with a narrow door. Also the staircase is narrow. This was not convenient for us as we had larger heavy suitcases. If people have heavier suitcases avoid this hotel. If there is no other choice definitely do not stay on the top floor or the higher floors.
My recommendation is to stay at Palazzo Reginella (always an excellent experience at this hotel), and if there is no availability at Palazzo Reginella then stay at Afrodite Boutique Hotel.
If there is no availability and Il Vicoletto is the only option, ask to stay in a room on the lower levels.

Stunning panorama but badly managed structure
I stayed here with my boyfriend for 1 night .. top floor room, no elevator extremely hot .. fortunately there was the elevator but the lady who accompanied us up gave us no indication and did not even say where breakfast would take place the next day. The view from the room is spectacular but you have the feeling of being totally abandoned by the property managers as there is no reference in the room for urgencies or needs. Also not having had directions for breakfast, despite it being included in the cost, in the end, having to leave then, we had breakfast in a nearby bar.

We're not...
We stayed with my sister in this B&B for one night because there were no other dates and more days available,,, and thank goodness I would say. We will never return, zero comfort and nothing a B&B should offer. First of all as soon as you arrive we are warned to be on the 'top floor, the 5th!!!! without elevator, an attic used as a room with an absurd heat.... a tiring climb at least 2 times a day. Luckily there was air conditioning. The room clean but unlivable, all the walls of windows covered with heavy curtains that at dawn you ended up sleeping. A terrace with a very nice sea view, a table with 2 chairs but what's the point? Not even a drying rack to dry beach towels and costumes. The service should at least offer a few bottles of water in the mini fridge (not working) and a coffee maker.
It's not enough to furnish some rooms, people like me don't come back.
