Very friendly hotel

Enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Ibis in Brindisi
Lovely and welcoming reception staff who proves good maps of the area
Breakfast is good - with fresh parties and great coffee. Coffee was excellent
The room may be a little functional - but very clean, beds changed daily, decent showers and water bottles changed daily. Good sized fridge is in the room too
Location isn’t great - although there are taxis and buses outside. Walk to the station is 15 minutes and 30 minutes to the sea front
Limited choice of restaurants and bars in local area - but De Mattels (pizzeria) is a 7 minute walk away and is excellent. Very popular with locals and good value for money

Overall, this hotel offered good value for the price. The room was clean, comfortable, and met our expectations for a short stay. The only downside was the air conditioning, which struggled to keep the room cool, especially during the warmer hours. Apart from that, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

Functional, and that is it.

Location - 20 min walk from station.
Good - didn’t keep my passport. Aside from external noise issues the bed was comfortable. And the room was clean.
Friendly check out.
Not so good - it’s quite loud. Both corridor and in room. Supposed to be 10pm quiet time. But that didn’t materialise alas.
Weird - feels more like a posh hostel than a hotel. Must be an Italian thing but tablecloth thin hand towels, these were strangely effective though and I loved them.
Practicals - everything is far away. Nothing nearby really. Hotel gives you a good leaflet about what is near ish though. Phone signal on TIM 3 bar 5g, vodafone 1 bar 5g.
Would I stay again - maybe. If I were in Brindisi specifically for something, absolutely. If I was passing through, maybe not.

A day for work

A small hotel but very tidy, bright, and clean. An essential but comfortable room. A very varied breakfast with excellent artisanal sweet and savory preparations. Friendly and smiling staff.

Great hotel.

Great room, clean and tidy. Good service, people really try their best for you.
Breakfast, plenty with very nice staff ( Fransesca and Antonella)
Good laundry service.
Distance to the city to walk well.
