working

was a guest at this hotel for three nights. Spacious room, excellent breakfast buffet, and absolute tranquility. Staff more than kind. For a visit to Pordenone and its surroundings, there are many recommended and things to visit in the surrounding area

4 very skimpy stars

I stayed at this hotel and some precautions there are, clearly very dated hotel, the rooms are the confirmation even if spacious, you can not say the same for the bathrooms, here the signs of time can be seen all, there was also a smell of smoke as if they were rooms where once smoking, I slept only one night so I did not care about the change of room, good breakfast, also the fact of the pool available. More than 4 stars I would still say a 3

All around bad experience.

Our experience started out bad from the very start. When I asked the desk person for a map of the area, I was told to use Google. I know how to use google but most places have maps and information that are helpful to guests The restaurant was closed down. The pools were not operational “because of the recent weather”. The whole place smelled musty. There were stains on the carpets throughout the hotel and in our room. There were no extra outlets in the rooms. We had 2 outlets in the room where the lamps were plugged in and one in the bathroom where the hairdryer was plugged in. We unplugged one lamp to plug in our phone charger, and the outlet did not work. So to charge our phones, we had no lamp light. There are no USB ports. Things listed on booking.com that they did not have: bar, room service, garden view, concierge, coffee house and shuttle service. At breakfast we had to track the server down for coffee and eggs. The eggs did taste good.

Lovely helpful staff in a tired outdated hotel

First of all may I congratulate the hotel staff on their friendliness and helpfulness. Nothing was too much, from making us cups of coffee to suggesting local eateries and places to go. For this I thank you all.
Now down to the hotel itself. We were one of the lucky ones, as our air conditioning was working. Our room was dated and tired, I didn’t like walking on the old carpets without shoes on, the bedding was clean but we occasionally had towels with old blood stains on. The TV was antiquated and we couldn’t get any channels worth viewing, so we didn’t bother with it. Lighting in the hallways was run on sensors, which is good but there are a few ‘blind spots’. Seating in the reception area was sad and torn, but still more comfortable than sitting in our room.
Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty available with freshly made scrambled eggs offered a few times. Coffee was always cold, but was good when freshly made. Staff, again really friendly.
The pool was good but it also serves as a ‘pay and play’ pool for the local young people ... they were fun to watch, especially whenever the attendants back was turned.
The Restaurant iDon ... not sure if this is owned by the hotel or not, but it is inside so I will review it here ... the restaurant staff were not friendly, in fact they were quite surly at times, it was almost as if they didn’t want to serve people! The pizza was not good, we tried it a few times and some were better than others, however, overall both the food and the service were poor and let down the hotel quite badly.
In Summary, poor hotel, poor restaurant but your saving grace is your hotel staff!

Dear Mollie1401,
thanks for choosing our hotel for your recent stay and sharing your impressions with the Tripadvisor community. Every negative or postive judgment is useful for a continuous and constant improvement but we would like to clarify some things: we regret that our furniture has not found its taste and despite how you say "dated" the rooms are welcoming. The linen in the room is managed by an external company and we will verify what you wrote even if we consider strange and improbable ... we ask you to contact the reception desk for problems of this kind. More than 60 digital/satelite channels are available in the room. In our swimming pool are welcome both the guests: the hotel-guests (free) and the paying guests ..... The dishes and drinks in the breakfast buffet are always monitored by our staff in quality, temperature and quality .... a hot coffee does not deny anyone !!! We are sorry for the problems encountered at the Restaurant-Pizzeria Idon but as you wrote we are two separate management .... we will still be present to the manager. Yours sincerely.

Soggiorno tranquillo.

We stayed for a night at this hotel. Everything was perfectly ok. It's not a very modern hotel, little bit like returning in 80ties, but the room was perfectly clean and the staff was very nice and kind. I think it's good choice if you're looking for a quiet place to stay.
