Wonderfull

After a day of driving arriving at 9 o' clock, very sympa b&b owner, an excellent hospitallity, they make the arrangement for a local restaurant. The room is excellent, the breakfast is very complete, they take care we become correct and usefull information for our trips. They advise us about parking, noce locations etc.

Absolutely amazing

The hosts Enzo and Romulus were wonderful people, staying up till late to greet us. At 10.30pm Enzo drove us to the local restaurant (La Sosta), which has great food after a long day of travel.
The next day while we were walking in Cernobbio center at night, Enzo just pulled up on our side. He had come one-errand only to pick us up, even if we said that we could walk.
We were served good breakfast in a lovely atmosphere.

A wonderful find

The road to Il Nido is challenging to say the least but local people were only too willing to point us in the right direction with smiles and hand gestures! We arrived to find a very welcoming family who could not have done more to have made our stay a delightful one. We had a room that overlooked the mountain and loved the balcony shrouded with jasmine which provided a birds eye view of Cernobbio and the lake. There was no traffic noise, only the sound of birds. The room was large and well equipped and each room in the house, there are two, has a bathroom located a few steps away. The bathroom was very modern and provided a power shower and all the facilities that one should expect. Breakfast was continental and very adequate with ample supply of croissants, jams, cheese, etc. Enzo, the owner, is very happy to transport clients into Cernobbio and pick them up later. This was fantastic for us as we were attending a wedding and it was so relaxing not having to worry about car parking which can be difficult in Cernobbio. We would have no hesitation in recommending Il Nido, it is clean, quiet and very comfortable. However, the best feature is the lovely family who run it.

aperitif upon arrival!

I only stayed overnight here, but enjoyed Il Nido's excellent hospitality! Enzo picked me up at the ferry terminal and immediately offered me an aperitif while showing me a gorgeously decorated room! The rooms are not down by the lake, but Enzo was happy to drive us where we wanted to go.

The definition of hospitality!

I'm so glad TripAdvisor reviews pointed me toward this fairly new B&B! Days after our stay, we were still marveling about the beautifully decorated house and completely unmatched hospitality. The wonderful family of Il Nido greeted us at the door upon arrival and offered drinks, recommendations for dinner and rides in and out of town if we so needed. At night, we were offered the most delicious homemade limoncello and in the morning, a beautifully thorough breakfast before a ride to our train!
I slept like a baby in the beautiful bed and took my time primping and preening in the beautiful bathroom (awesome shower by the way).
We loved everything about our stay here!
