Tuscan splendor for a few days
The location and the atmospheric authentic Tuscan apartment L' Uliveto was beautiful. There is a swimming pool and the employees and owners are friendly. The area is beautiful and there are good restaurants in the area Siena is travelable and well worth it. Looking for truffles with a dog and handler was also a nice experience. However, there are some downsides. Food at this location is only possible if more guests sign up. This is not communicated so remains uncertain when it can. Our apartment was sweltering hot, no mosquito nets in the windows and lots of mosquitoes. Even if you leave the windows closed. The air conditioning in the bedroom made a lot of noise, so did not sleep well. On our terrace was not to sit between 12 and 19 hours. No shadow. The pool is lovely, but somewhat outdated. The road to the location is a challenge with a low car. Bucine is pretty boring. We would stay there for 11 days. We personally find this too long at this location. We left 4 days earlier. Despite all this, we had a nice time.

A Fairy-Tale Stay in the Heart of Tuscany
What a beautiful find in the heart of Tuscany. The property itself is stunning, anchored by a real castle on site that gives the whole estate a fairy-tale feel. We stayed in the Limone apartment, which comfortably fit our group of six and was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated throughout.
The grounds are gorgeous — flowering gardens, charming buildings, and photo opportunities at every turn, all while still feeling completely private. We spent our days swimming and soaking up the Tuscan sun, then coming back to a clean, comfortable home base to relax in the evenings.
The hosts were wonderful — warm, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. It made the whole stay feel effortless.
Highly recommend Tenuta di Lupinari for anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque base to explore this part of Tuscany. We’d happily come back.

Stunning location
Stunning location, never seen better. In the countryside of Arezzo, a renovated village with 40 spots and an attached castle. Fantastic night in the countryside with zero noise, excellent breakfast service, I must say excellent, and then the huge pool for a relaxing bath, nothing to say, a great sensory experience, peace, and tranquility. Excellent service from the owners. Antonella is super AAA+; we will definitely return.

Beautiful Villa Limonaia near the Castle
This was my second visit to Tenuta di Lupinari, and the first for my son and his wife and my daughter. Villa Limonaia was as beautiful as it was when I stayed there more than a dozen years ago with my husband. My family was delighted. when they walked in the door. We had a splendid dinner the night we arrived in the restaurant there, and met mutual friends in the dining room. We enjoyed a cooking class, made our own pasta and tarte and more and had it all for lunch. We made breakfast each morning in our well equipped kitchen and had wine each night on our private terrace. We took off on a tour of the area each day...Radda, Siena, and tiny ancient hill top towns. It was a delight to see Antonella and Marianna, who with their mother run this amazing place. Can't wait for my third visit.

In the middle of nowhere, In the center of everything
We just LOVED our week here at the 3 bedroom Villa (La Limonaia) at Tenuta di Lupinari. We experienced true Tuscan hospitality in an authentic Italian "Borgo".
The location is just spectacular. Surrounded by a working winery and situated at the end of a dirt road in the quiet hills of Tuscany. We had our own entrance to a 2 story self catering villa. Our view of the castle made walking out of our home for the week all the more spectacular.
Furnishings are authentic and characteristic to the area with Italian antiques. Bathrooms are clean and more contemporary.
Our family of 5 used this location to explore many different areas of Tuscany and to attend a wedding near Florence. We felt it was centrally located for our itinerary as many of the popular hill towns are within an equal radius.
After our long journey from the US, We took advantage of the lovely dinner and breakfast at the Tenuta on the first night. It was lovely, welcoming and delicious. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool area during our stay.
One of the suggestions I would have for guests interested in staying here would to make sure your car is higher off the ground to navigate the bumpy dirt road to the Borgo. Our rental was low profile and it was difficult not to "bottom out" or scrape the underside of the vehicle on many spots along the way to and from the main road.
The staff was always available and helpful for suggestions and recommendations for other dining in the region, directions, etc. The best internet is located in the lobby which is decorated with comfortable sofas and lovely art.
Since it is difficult, this day and age, to disconnect from necessary responsibilities at home, it would be nice if WiFi connectivity could be attained in the rooms. Being able to communicate enables us to travel more.
Realistically, what makes this place so special is the warmth and hospitality of the hosts. We felt like we were part of the family and would definitely consider staying here again.
