Wonderful.

I was here with my fiancée for dinner, we had pizza on the terrace. A spectacular view and intimacy, we were enchanted. The tables in the terrace are few, you can hear the silence and peace. The pizza was good, although with such a view it takes a back seat. A really beautiful evening.

No bar, no restaurant availability, poor breakfast.

The overall experience was disappointing. We were unable to eat at the hotel during our three night stay as the restaurant was either fully booked or set aside for a private booking.
The lack of any outdoor space was a significant drawback. There was nowhere at the hotel to sit outside and relax or enjoy a drink.
There was also no indoor bar. Relaxing at the hotel consisted of asking at reception for a drink to be served in the room otherwise being used as a restaurant after the main service had finished.
The hotel was effectively a room only, with nothing else on offer and not remotely of value in terms of what we had paid.
Breakfast was very poor. No hot food at all apart from boiled eggs cooked yourself without any guidance. No staff presence and very limited food options - no cereal other than packs of corn flakes and minimal fruit/nut options given that no cooked food was on offer.
The staff were pleasant and friendly, but overall the service was poor. There was no real attempt to offer advice on amenities within the hotel or tourist attractions locally, even when pressed for information. No maps available nor recommendations for local restaurants, bars or shopping.
Gym equipment was satisfactory but based in the underground cave area. There was a pervading smell of damp that was not conducive to exercise.
Our room was very nice and spacious. Very little to fault in that respect. The other areas of the hotel were pleasantly quirky and the historic and charming building had lovely features.
Overall we would not revisit and certainly not recommend.

Very beautiful, tasteful and special. Rooms spacious, bed fantastic and personnel very friendly and service oriented. Gym also special in stunning underground space. Unique.
