You freeze to death and the host offends you as well
We arrived on a cold winter evening (outside it was -2 degrees). The heating was off, there was no one to welcome us, but at least the host answered the phone and guaranteed that, once turned on, the heating would warm the whole room (we had to stay four days: it did not go as he said, indeed we all got sick).
It is not possible to present such a room in winter. It was probably enough that someone had bothered to turn on the weather before leaving, and we would have found a cozy situation. What is unthinkable is the bathroom: my advice is to equip yourself with an electric bathroom stove at least, because it is unthinkable that with subzero temperature you can use the toilets in the cold.
There are a few precautions to be taken: the customer who reports a problem does not care who is to blame, but that the situation is resolved. “It was the lady who didn’t turn the heat on,” “it was the lady who turned the switch off,” “maybe the lady forgot her toilet paper”: all this is superfluous information that doesn’t put the relationship between “manager” and “employees” in a good light, even if we don’t talk about hotels; but the concept doesn’t change.
On the furnishings I can suggest a lamp or a night light: even to read a book before falling asleep you can not keep the chandelier on.
The structure can perhaps be valid in summer: I would not go back in winter, and I would not recommend it for sure.
Finally, once I left the room, the host sent me a message on the platform from which I had booked telling me to spend my money on medicines and insulting me with words that cannot be reported, as per guidelines for writing a review.
