A true oasis of peace and fun

Completely surrounded by greenery, a true oasis of peace; unfortunately, we could only stay for a few days, but we had a wonderful time with our three-month-old baby, and we will definitely keep it in mind for another short vacation.

Terrible vacation

We stayed 7 nights in a three-room bungalow without air conditioning, even though some bungalows are equipped with it and are sold at the same price. At the reception, regarding our complaint, there was no support: we were told that “it was enough to read on the website,” too bad that in the offer we had booked this information was omitted. In practice, it is a matter of luck: same price, but some have air conditioning and others do not. In the scorching heat, it is unacceptable.
The accommodation was also dirty and neglected: cigarettes left in the garden, old furniture, and insect residue on and in front of the bedroom baseboards. We asked for a second fan for the other room and, despite several reminders, it never arrived.
The bungalows are located on the opposite side of a huge village, so much so that to reach the central area and even just the basic necessities, you have to face a real trek in the heat, on dirt roads and sand. A particularly inconvenient location, especially with the heat these days.
Shuttles to the sea with schedules often different from those posted on the bulletin board. Very poor entertainment and a rather dilapidated village. Even the quiet hours are poorly respected: shouting until 1:30 at night in the field and fitness areas, without adequate intervention.
A real shame, because the park is beautiful and the setting of the Parco della Sterpaia would deserve a much better-managed facility.
If you want to ruin your vacation, go to Mareverde.

It's a shame that there is entertainment.

The property itself is beautiful and the review would be positive if it weren't for a very serious flaw: noisy, stupid, and invasive entertainment that blasts bad music and the DJ's nonsense at full volume until midnight. The same entertainment pollutes the village area pool in the same way for an hour a day.

The members, not so much

Honestly, this is the second year we have come to the Mare Verde village, but this year they gave little space to the entertainment team, which makes little sense since a family chooses to come to a village for this. Unfortunately, the members should be doing something else entirely and not taking up the space of the entertainers, who, by the way, were even better this year.
Too bad. They should give space to the entertainment team.

Absolute disaster!

Absolutely not recommended!
The bungalow is anything but clean, it smells of sewage and feces, the stepping stones are defective and sharp-edged, which is very dangerous with small children, and throughout the entire area, one cannot even order drinks in English without difficulty. As a German, one definitely does not feel welcome there, and also, a kids' club, as described online, or a supermarket was not to be found, as it was only open for 2 days for 3 hours and nothing more.
