Bella Casamassima

This is the second time I am using Gli Avi and I have gotten to know Rocco. The apartments are in excellent condition and very clean. Rocco ensures there are many snacks and beverages available to you on your arrival. The location on this last apartment was in the piazza which was a great location with several cafés around the area. I would highly recommend using Gli Avi for you B & B needs in this area, Rocco is an exceptional host .

Excellent service that made trip special

Upon arrival, Rocco greeted me, and welcomed me to the village - the room was lovely, kept very tidy, and provided a lot of options for a breakfast. Bottled water in the fridge, freshly made juice, and Rocco himself was there to help with anything needed. Overall, the service was excellent, and the room was immaculate - I'm very happy that I got to stay here.

A nice B&B in a quiet historical village close to Bari

It was our second stay in Casamassima, and we made our choice in favour of Gli Avi without a moment's hesitation.This year we were put in a fine apartment next door to the innkeeper's house, just a few minutes away from the town's main square.
The place is well furnished with a touch of lovely country-style, the kitchen in spite of modest size is equipped with all the necessary appliances and the whole space is very warm, which could be important in February with its chilly nights.
The mini-bar is so generous that it suffice both, breakfast and dinner depending on one's appetite.The room cleaning is frequent and irreproachable.
All these nice and important things would have been impossible but for the host of the place, a fabulous guy Rocco that makes his guests feel most welcome indeed.
Sure, Gli Avi is the best place to stay in the area if you're after ultimate comfort for reasonable money. Strongly recommend.

A fine place to stay close to Bari in pastoral South Italian environment.

A nice tiny and wonderfully clean place right in the heart of the village of Casamassima and its historical downtown. The BB's located in a 19th century building which gives the place a certain charm, and there's even a bonus to it - audible yet unobtrusive church bells every now and then. The room provides all the necessary facilities: air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen, modern TV and a decent bathroom. The owner of the place Rocco should be mentioned separately: a most friendly guy literally ever at one's service. Should you come to travel to Bari and be looking for a nice little refuge close to the city and various Puglia attractions, it's the best choice indeed.

Kindness and hospitality!!!

Very kind and attentive service, comfortable rooms, romantic atmosphere. The owner treated us so well and the location has lots of history and tradition. We felt so welcome and look forward to be there again!!
