Although only one staff member was fluent in English, most of the others were friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the medieval town of Casertavecchia.

My opinion as a travel agent ..

Tactical location for visiting Caserta Vecchia on foot (on foot). Useful internal parking
Good and evocative internal restaurant overlooking the pool.
Rich breakfast and super kind and professional staff.
Very clean.

Charming vacation!

Good morning, it has been a family trip, and it was a total success to choose the Hotel Caserta Antica! We all enjoyed its charm and the kindness and welcome from the hotel staff!

Pool with insects. Rooms and restaurant okay

Pleasant structure and good quality restaurant. Good breakfast but with little choice.
Access to the pool costs €10, but it is included for those dining at the restaurant.
The pool is large, but due to the surrounding vegetation, many insects inevitably end up in the water. This in itself would not be a problem if the filtration system worked properly: the water is not drawn towards the outlets and everything that floats on the surface remains still instead of being sucked in and filtered.
I reported the situation to the reception and was told that they would check it, but during our stay, no staff member intervened. In order to swim, we had to personally use the net to clean the surface of the water.

Oasis of tranquility

We stayed at this property for 4 nights from 08 to 12 May and we loved the tranquility of the site and the availability of the staff to make us feel at ease and to help us in our needs
In addition the restaurant cheered our evenings and a special greeting to Mr. Franco always present and dispenser of advice
And then if we want to mention the site very close to Casertavecchia that reconciles you with a territory (New Caserta )
