A peaceful holiday

Welcoming staff, friendly and attentive to customer needs. Simple, clean and welcoming rooms. Genuine cuisine. Structure located in the center of Castro a stone's throw from the sea. The car park is far away but you don't need a car. There are many initiatives nearby that you can follow. Recommendation for a peaceful holiday.

Hotel in a fantastic, strategic location, everything within reach if you no longer want to take the car, breakfast for an Italian breakfast, always fresh croissants, Nutella jam, etc. in short, the right breakfast in my opinion.
The room was cleaned and tidied up every day. MARIA AND LADY COSIMINA always courteous and kind!

Note, my review is of the restaurant attached to the hotel, not of the hotel itself.
My wife and I were on an all day tour of the Salento on Saturday August 20, 2016 and while my wife went swimming in the nearby harbor I had a late lunch here. I had frutti di mare, specifically fried calamari and prawns and two glasses of local white wine. The restaurant was conveniently located just off the harbor. The server was very prompt and the quality of the food and wine was very good and at a reasonable price. We plan on returning to Castro for a longer visit and will definitely return here for another meal.

Great location

We were the only guests at this central hotel on a beautiful day in early October. South Italy stops at the end of September so it is a great time to enjoy the scenery without the crowds. For 70 euros with a room overlooking the harbour you can,t really go wrong.
