We really enjoyed our stay with Melina in her B&B! She is very lovely, offers a nice breakfast and also the room was nice and clean. There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby and its also easy to find parking close by. We had a very nice experience :)

Entrance to the building left a lot to be desired. Scruffy, peeling paint where there was some, broken marble steps on staircase, broken handrail. Through the door into our accommodation it all changed.Nicely decorated and furnished. Into our lovely spacious room with balcony. Nicely decorated. Bathroom was very tiny. One large wardrobe with 3 hangers! No drawers. Had to search shops to purchase an adapter as UK one was not compatible. Bit stressful. Appears the property has the old socket system. Unable to connect to wifi after numerous attempts. The host confirmed the password but still no luck. The password had 30 digits, numbers and letters!! Finally, no facilities, not even a cup, one, bathroom mug. Certainly no tea/coffee making facilities. Although housekeeping advertised, that didn't happen.
So all you get is a room albeit a nice room. Good location with bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Never been in a hotel so bad... aesthetically and everything! Meanwhile, the photos do not correspond absolutely to reality , because the hotel and 'very old ... raised flooring .. apart from this assure you air conditioning (which practically at 18 degrees) there had to be penguins .. and instead opening the balcony door entered more air, then they write you parking .. yes and during the night we year opened the car .. stealing the expenses that we had done in the afternoon .. the following morning we phone to communicate everything (because anyway there remains no responsible) and a lady told us that where we parked that shop with the cameras was her friend .. that he would let us know .. instead no one ever made himself felt .. they could also make fun of us by calling and saying that they could not do anything, broken cameras etc ... however this call nn never came .. because anyway nn year professionalism, so after you pocket the money they do not care anything .. a room with a double bed .. and a double bed (to say that we were four) however I would not return even giving us the night for a week ... very discouraged and ugly.

Dark dingy accomodation in run down area of Catania. Toilet very poor. Staircase dangerous with broken steps. Entrance door hard to find, run down and not inviting. Stayed for 5 mins then left to find somewhere better.
Photos on Hotel.com website are misleading. dont think should be on Hotels.com listings. Really, really disappointing.

Great place, supe cute host
Breakfast was exceptional, friendly owners, great fresh food and coffee. The hostess Melina provided amazing breakfast every morning. Room was a good size and very clean, with a little terrace ad well. Everything was wonderful!
