One of the most wonderful hidden gems we have ever stayed in!
We arrived at Una Volta and were greeted by the wonderful owner, Maria, and her husband Paolo (not forgetting their beautiful dog - Billy).
Maria was so warm and welcoming, and her pride in this gorgeous little B&B was immediately apparent. She sat us down in the common room - which is also where breakfast is set up in the mornings - to give us all of the information that we needed for our stay, before showing us to the kitchen and then to the 2 rooms that we had booked. Honestly, the whole place was absolutely SPOTLESS!
We were in love with the decor. The whole place is made to look very authentic and in line with the building itself. The little touches like ribbons around the towel bales and the scatter cushions are such great little finishing touches.
Even my 15-year-old son said that he felt like he was at home because of how cosy the place is, and how wonderful Maria and Annalise were.
Breakfast is delicious. We had pastries and cereal with fresh juice, teas and coffees, but I dare say that if you wanted something specific, Maria would organise that for you.
There are not tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, but there is a kettle and coffee machine in the kitchen, as well as a fridge that you are free to use.
There is a great pizza restaurant directly next to the hotel, with great service, and very reasonable prices.
A car (in my opinion), is necessary.
The B&B is approx 45 minutes to Naples (via tolls), or an hour and 10 minutes without.
Sorrento is approx. 1 hour 10 minutes away.
The closest beach is probably Salerno, which is approx. 15 minutes away.
Cava Dei Tirreni has its own little town (which is less than a 10 minute drive away), with every shop you could need, and a great selection of restaurants.
I urge you to give this place a go for a real authentic stay with amazing Italian hospitality!

Accoglienza e disponibilità davvero eccellenti. Ottima pulizia e cura dei dettagli.
Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno presso questa struttura, ho amato l'attenzione ai minimi particolari, il calore umano e la semplicità degli arredi. La vasca in camera ormai è presente ovunque, ma credo che solo in strutture "datate" come questa abbia realmente senso.

Proprietaria disponibilissima b&b in ottima posizione e struttura nuovissima e molto curata.
Proprietaria disponibilissima b&b in ottima posizione e struttura nuovissima e molto curata. Comodo nella posizione X visita della costiera Amalfitana e situato in zona periferica, ma comoda, soprattutto x il parcheggio, a Cava de Tirreni. Ci ritornerò.

Cortesia, accoglienza e attenzione all’ospite, colazione favolosa!
Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti al B&B una volta, dispone di 3 camere in totale ognuna con il suo bagno privato, sapientemente disegnato e curato nei minimi dettagli da Annalisa e suo marito. Noi avevamo la camera “pignata”, possibilità di arrangiarla sia con letto matrimoniale che twin, bagnetto piccolo ma rifinitissimo con doccia e ceramiche di Vietri, ripasso della camera e cambio asciugamani giornaliero.
Il telefono non prende, in quella zona non c’era rete, ma al b&b c’è un’ottima connessione al Wi-Fi di cui abbiamo usufruito.
Cava de Tirreni centro è a c.a 15/20 minuti a piedi, al ritorno occorre fare una bella salita ma tutto sommato è facile raggiungerla. Consigliato espressamente se viaggiate in macchina, difronte al B&B c’è una piccola piazzetta dove siamo sempre riuscìti a parcheggiare ed è gratuito (caso raro se si pensa alla costiera).
Ma il punto forte di Una volta è senza ombra di dubbio la colazione: il tutto è predisposto con enorme cura e passione per l’ospitalità, ci siamo sentite super coccolate! Annalisa prepara le bevande calde e mette a disposizione succhi di frutta, pasticcini, marmellate e nutella, cornetti freschissimi di pasticceria, il miglior modo per iniziare la giornata!
Grazie infinite per tutte le informazioni ed i consigli, è stato un piacere soggiornare da voi e lo consigliamo a tutti!

- Chambres superbes, décorées avec beaucoup de goût, un beau parti pris et le rendu une belle ambiance à l'ancienne
- Situation à 5min de Cava de Tirenni en voiture, pratique pour le soir
- Bon petit déjeuner : boisson chaude, jus, viennoiseries, yaourt, biscuits
- Wifi impeccable
Bémols :
- Promiscuité avec les autres chambres, bruyant le soir et le matin très tôt
- Manque de volets ou rideaux occultants à la fenêtre
- Passage étroit en voiture et difficulté à se garer devant le bâtiment
- Manque un frigo dans la chambre, pourtant il était indiqué minibar
- Douche exiguë
