for a dinner with friends

Cernobbio, very popular and very touristic place, find a place for a dinner without fear of spending a fortune, place with the possibility of dining out, quiet, friendly service, perhaps a little apprehensive, but available, well prepared dishes, risotto maybe a minute too much cooking, but tasty, clean bathrooms, we got there on foot

A truly delightful place

Short walk (slightly uphill) from the village center, in a very quiet area. Well-kept environment and spotlessly clean. Room (31) spacious and comfortable exposed on two sides and with balcony. All staff are friendly and efficient. I also had a great time at the restaurant, with an excellent perch risotto.
Four small details (if you will negligible, in the face of everything else, but I quote them by way of suggestion) did not entirely satisfy me;
- I found the bedside tables uncomfortable because they were too small and low;
- the elevator is very slow;
- 3.50 for a bottle of microfiltered water seem exaggerated;
- I hate the "bin" on the table at breakfast.
I point out that these are purely subjective opinions that do not in any way affect my overall entirely positive judgment and do not discourage me from strongly recommending this hotel / restaurant.

More than excellent

Maybe such kindness, I swear, I had never received. All extremely courteous, delicate, attentive, helpful. Clean, well-kept and welcoming hotel, although small. Perfect rooms, mattress with topper, all clean and renovated. Restaurant just as good. The owner even rode a motorcycle to the pharmacy, being in almost closing time for fear that we would not make it in time to arrive: but when? Just one tip: go to Lake Como with a small car because the spaces everywhere, including roads, are car-friendly from 60 years ago. I thank the Hotel La Vignetta for giving us a rare professionalism! Best room we have stayed in across many countries. Easy to find, close to the lake, with plenty of great shops nearby.
The room was perfectly sized, the bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom was clean and worked perfectly. The balcony had a lake view and room for both of us to sit.
We wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely go back to this hotel if we're in the Lake Como area.
