The hotel is located right on the beach, so it’s very well positioned. The rooms are fairly modern and clean. The bathroom has a good-sized shower with decent water pressure. The breakfast staff are nice and helpful.
Now for the not-so-good part...
We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, all 4-star, and I can say for certain that this one is not a true 4-star hotel. It’s not a bad hotel, but it’s definitely not worth the price they charge. We booked the Deluxe King Room with a front sea view—aside from the suite, it’s the most expensive option. By accident, we saw the standard room next to ours, and it was almost identical. The only difference? Ours had an extra single bed.
Before booking, we called to ask if the Deluxe King Room was just a 3-person room. They said it wasn’t. But the photos of the 3-person room looked exactly like what we got. So we ended up paying an extra 1k for a bed we didn’t need. Fun, right?
The bed itself was also small for a Deluxe King Room. It was a 160/180 cm mattress was comfortable, but my feet were hanging off the edge. We also had an ant colony to share our room with and the paint was peeling off the walls near the window because of a water infiltration. There is no soundproofing so u can hear everything on the hall and from the bathroom next to yours.
And the beautiful sea view? Our room was on the first floor, so all we could see were the beach buildings and a tiny bit of water. When we asked to move to a higher floor, they said there weren’t any available at the time. We said no problem we’re here for 12 nights, we can move later. They said they'd let us know. We never heard back.
The TV in the room was useless. It was the cheapest model possible, with no streaming services and no way to connect devices. When we arrived, there was nothing in the room ,not even a complimentary bottle of water. No coffee machine, no tea, nothing.
The only amenity? A beach bag with the hotel’s name on it… and 3 stars printed on the side. That says a lot. In the bathroom, there was just a bottle of cheap shower gel with a strange smell and very watery. No shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion.
Now let’s talk about breakfast, which was another big disappointment. There were some cakes and pastries, but they were very dry and overbaked and almost the same every day. The scrambled eggs were often dry and turning green from sitting under the heat too long. There was one type of ham, one type of salami, and one type of cheese. If you don’t like those, too bad. No vegetables, and only a few pieces of fruit. Not even a tomato or cucumber.
As for bread: one type of white bread and two types of toast. Yogurt came in a large tub, and there was only one kind of milk—unlabeled, so if you want lactose-free or oat milk, bring your own.
It was honestly the most limited breakfast I’ve ever seen. We always stay in 4-star hotels in Italy, and all of them have been miles better than this.
One morning, there were no eggs left, so we asked for an omelet. Surprise! We were charged €10 for it when we checked out.
What they call “breakfast in the garden” is just a terrace where it’s too sunny and hot to sit in the morning. Inside, you can’t sit just anywhere,if a table is already set for supper, it’s off-limits.
I’m not saying this is a bad hotel, but it’s definitely not a 4-star one. If it were marketed as a 3-star hotel and priced accordingly (like half of what we paid), it would be okay.
The staff is friendly and helpful, but the management is poor and fails to provide actual 4-star standards.
On our last day, they left another beach bag in the room .this one had the hotel name and 4 stars on it. Funny, right? :)
There are far better options for the money.
After the first day, we tried the food and were so disappointed that we asked if we could just stay the nights covered by the 30% deposit and check out early. We didn’t get what we paid for—no sea view, small room, and poor food. They said we could check out, but we’d still be charged the full amount.
I never write reviews, but this time I felt I had to so others don’t fall into the same trap.
This is a decent 3-star hotel, and I honestly have no idea how it got its 4th star. Also, there’s no pool (which we knew in advance). I even think we saw 3-star hotels nearby that looked better than this one.
Thankfully, the weather was great, so we just tried to enjoy our time at the beach and put this hotel in the “got fooled” pile.
Also, we got the beach package, and when we went to get our umbrella, they said the hotel only made the reservation two days before we arrived, even though we paid the deposit two weeks before. So, no good spot close to the water. Thankfully, the beach staff were much more helpful and got us a better spot for the following days.
For me, it’s strange how so many people have such a great opinion about this place…
