We ate excellent, well-cooked pasta with a delicious Florentine steak and very well-fried French fries. the place was very welcoming and well furnished and the desserts were wonderful, we had a sorbet and an apricot tart and we spent very little, I recommend it.

AWESOME!!!!
Very bad. From the photos of the rooms our expectations were high. Once we arrived, the welcome was lacking, we received the keys and headed to the room. Once you entered, you could barely walk in the room, it was very narrow. The walls were dirty, dust everywhere, we entered the bathroom and there was a bedbug and then, later, we found one in the room on the floor completely dead and another one flying around the entire perimeter. The shower cubicle was in terrible condition, the curtains were dirty (both in the room and in the bathroom), and I found a stained bidet towel. Little professionalism, 0 cleanliness.
Unfortunately, out of necessity, we had to stay two nights, then we immediately changed hotels (still nearby) and are enjoying the last remaining days.
Obviously, all this was reported by me personally to the owner, unfortunately I expected a minimum of displeasure or apologies on her part for the negative experience, but nothing... I don't recommend it in the slightest, look for better because there are some and also at the same price!!!

old style hotel
old style hotel, old furniture, rooms are not particullary cleaned and are on a floor above a busy bar-restaurant, receptionist are the same woman serving at the bar, breakfast is so so, not suitable for long stay.

Good price, great service, basic room
Whether you like this hotel or not depends on what you plan to do. If, like us, you just want a clean place to sleep whilst you are busy doing other things, then this place is fine. If you want a comfortable holiday type stay, look elsewhere. This is a very basic hotel. Clean enough with lovely staff. But the hight of comfort and luxury this is not. The room was basically furnished, and in serious need of a paint job. The breakfast (included in the price) is a brioche and a bread role with a couple of jams and (good) coffee. The price is extremely good at 70 euros a night for the room. As I say, whether you stay here depends on what you plan to do.

Nice but choose room wisely...
I recently spent two nights at Hotel Cristallo, I was located on the 1st floor, room twenty something and overlooking the rear of the building next to a rail track (heard it once, both mornings), a few houses and some mountains. Wasn't the best view, but hey I just needed a place to rest my head as was attending a wedding. First issue, walls are thin. Till past midnight you can hear the kitchen being cleaned and GOD knows what else, the noise became unbearable and I just couldn't be asked to complain as was too tired. The same happens in the morning circa 6.30am! So when booking, choose a top floor room, it'll save you your sanity and hopefully you'll have a better night of rest than I did. Not to detract from the nicer points, Continental breakfast is included, croissants, bread, Nutella and fresh butter and the coffee is ace. One note of importance, my room was cleaned, I was asked to leave it unlocked when I saw the cleaner in the morning assuming she had a key to lock my room; thereafter I returned to an unlocked door, fortuitously I had taken my valuables with me, the point being that there was no awareness of security. All in all a good clean hotel, but next time when I visit, I will choose a top floor room to preserve my sanity, that said the area is beautiful and quaint and not much going on locally, but otherwise a great little spot for a stopover...
