Comfortable and cozy (meaning small) like ALL of Italy's accommodations.. but beautiful...be prepared for many many steps specially in Corniglia

Terrible communication
In fact I didnt really go bc they canceled my Booking reservation unilaterally since I had technical problems with the online registration.
I just finished walking all five villages in Cinque Terre. I stayed in so many walker friendly places. This property is VERY UNFRIENDLY to walkers.
At some point they called me petty for having problems with the online registration.

Terrible Experience - Avoid!
Terrible Experience - Avoid!
Booked through Booking.com (Partner offer) with all fees included. Upon arrival, access code didn't work. Owner demanded €50 deposit to give working code - had to pay by credit card while standing on street with luggage. Room was advertised with balcony but didn't have one.
Owner never returned deposit, claiming extra €30 cleaning fee and city tax (not mentioned in booking).
The owner said I must have booked it on a fake website, which is not true.
When I mentioned that I would write this experience in the reviews, she threatened by police action for intimidation.
Booking.com custommer service was unhelpful, just redirecting to owner.
After reading other reviews at google, I found many guests had similar issues with deposits, hidden charges, and hostile communication.

It was one of my worst stays. I waited outside untill someone finally answered. The place was dirty (and i had to pay a high cleaning fee.) I can hear in my room the pipes everytime someone flushed the toilet in the building.
