Of the treasures

I can only recommend this hotel to anyone! It's really cute, it looks like a mountain hotel! And especially the cleaning lady and the owner are very kind!! I was really impressed that the owner offered me lunch cooked by him, as he knew I would have a contest shortly after lunchtime! If I get the chance again, I will definitely come back!

We just spent a weekend in this hotel and loved it, the room was simple, but warm, clean and quiet, with the necessary basic. The owner was kind and made me prepare a vegan breakfast. I recommend it

Basic simplicity and comfort

Simplicity and basic comfort - but still enough - to troubleshoot one or two nights in this Domodossola Upstairs Pension.
The furniture is simple and in some parts worn out, but the bed remains comfortable enough, the same for the proper shower, probably recently renovated. Importantly, the air conditioning worked well.
Cleanliness, constructively we could still do better in the shower room and toilet, especially considering the Award of the room which is not really that of a Hostel. A small fridge would also be welcome in the room.

Family run nice hotel

The hotel is rather inconspicuous, our room and bathroom were large. In front of it was a balcony with chairs. The reception is also the bar with a large breakfast room. It is more like a cozy living room with a dining room. All rooms are very clean. Daily cleaning. The owner welcomes you very friendly, he explains the processes in the hotel and personally takes guests up to their rooms. Our room overlooks a narrow courtyard with a car repair shop. The rooms on the other side look out onto the hotel car park and residential buildings. For those traveling by train, the walk from the train station is very long. We did not find a bus. Various restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors and supermarkets are within walking distance. Breakfast is sparse Italian: 1 brioche/croissant for each person, 3 mini rolls, butter, various jams. Coffee, hot milk, tea, 1 glass of juice. On the second day, the mini rolls were the same as the day before. The owner and his wife run the hotel alone without any staff. Both are very friendly. When we arrived he told us that he would drive us to the train station when we left. Although it is a bit out of the way, we would stay there again and can recommend it.
