Enna‘s Embrace

Patrizia and Giuseppe could not have been kinder: including guiding us to the BnB in midst a procession and saving a parking space. Their joy in caring for guests was in every detail: the quaint, still functional renovation, their suggestions, the comfortable bed, the delicious breakfast.
This BnB is why to shun luxury hotels and apartments.

A real gem in a beautiful mediaeval town

It’s hard to overstate what a gem of a B&B this is, in the impressively situated town of Enna in the heart of Sicily. Enna sits on top of a massive bluff of rock, some 1,000 metres above sea level and is packed with history. The proprietor of Antica Dimira, Patrizia, is very welcoming and friendly. The room we had was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a hand-built fixtures and furnishings throughout. The shower was especially good - of that is important to you then you’ll love this one. Breakfast is continental, but plentiful and varied, including many homemade items such as cakes and pastries.
This is a gem, and we thoroughly recommend it. But maybe park your larger-than-super-compact car in the plentiful nearby street parking as the medieval streets are very narrow with sharp corners that are unforgiving if your steering isn’t perfect!

Highly recommend this B&B

This property was in agood location. The B&B was a newly restored medieval building.  The decore was interesting and beautiful.  The property was immaculate.  The breakfast was extensive and very good.  Most importantly the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Happy surprise

We were originally booked at Domus Enna, which closed for good in Jan. She had tried to reach us prior via our booking site but was unable. When we arrived, the owner met us and stated we’d stay here instead, just 2 minutes away. While initially surprised it ended up being fine because the room was gorgeous. There was street parking just around the corner. Breakfast was very good as well. All’s well that ends well!

Fantastic place to stay

This place was really lovely! First, I was very warmly welcomed after an exhausting day on the bike so that I immediately felt at home. I also received very tailored tips for my short stay.
The room was fantastic: tastefully furnished, quiet, and with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also super luxurious with a large choice of different cakes, fruits etc. Highly recommended! Many thanks to the friendly owners!
