Wonderful stay!
We stayed in the Il Ballatoio apartment, a spacious, well-kept accommodation equipped with a beautiful terrace.
The vacation was truly impeccable, also thanks to the great availability and attention of Mrs. Giusy, who made us feel welcome from the very first moment. We also really appreciated the outdoor spaces, with sun loungers and a pleasant jacuzzi, ideal for enjoying moments of relaxation. Breakfast was another strong point: rich, varied, and with excellent quality products, especially the yogurts, which were truly delicious. Furthermore, the attention to dietary needs was very much appreciated, with the availability of gluten-free cookies and tarts. A stay that we highly recommend and that we hope to be able to repeat.

Wedding in Montalbano
We had a truly wonderful stay at the B&B Antica Via Roma in Puglia. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with great kindness and attention, making us feel right at home.
We stayed in the Ballatoio Suite, a really lovely, spacious, very clean room that was well taken care of in detail. Every morning, Giusi, who took care of us throughout our stay, prepared excellent breakfasts with great care, always served with a smile and plenty of availability.
It was a real pleasure to meet both Giusi and Angela: two extremely welcoming, warm, and attentive people to the needs of the guests. Their hospitality made our experience even more special.

Enchanting surprise
Beautiful structure, attention to detail and excellently renovated. Comfortable rooms, efficient heating and cooling for every season, genuine breakfast enjoyed from an intimate terrace with lovely views of the hills. The owner Angela very kind and the collaborator Giusy a lovely person who pampered us from 'beginning to end of our stay! We will be back.

Lovely place, attention to detail. Rooms equipped with all amenities, from slippers to air conditioning, to a refrigerator full of juice, water and milk. Really impeccable. The whirlpool on the terrace is really a touch of class. Maybe I would have put a coffee cup for comfort, but it's okay, five stars well deserved

Very poor probably worst I have experienced
I honestly don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. It’s extremely overpriced for what you get. The rooms are tiny and nothing like what’s shown in the photos. The “bed and breakfast” is very misleading — there is no breakfast served on the rooftop or in the rooms as the pictures suggest. Instead, you have to walk to a café to get a single small croissant and a coffee, which was not what we expected at all.
One of the rooms had the AC unit hidden in the closet, so the room stayed hot and stuffy, and it also smelled like sewage. The AC barely worked, making it very uncomfortable. When we raised these issues with the owner, instead of trying to fix anything, he rudely told us to leave — something I’ve never experienced with any hotel, booking, or Airbnb host before.
Lastly the wifi was so weak and spotty .
Overall, this was not a pleasant stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely not worth the price.

Good evening, the atmosphere and each individual room perfectly match the photos and descriptions/dimensions on Booking.com. The breakfast is anything but meager: guests have access to an in-room coffee machine with various beverage capsules, yogurt, juice, water, milk, toast, Nutella, jam, honey, and breakfast snacks. They also receive a daily voucher for a second breakfast (a beverage and a sweet or savory item) at the best pastry shop in town. After an immediate check, we verified that the air conditioning was working perfectly and there was absolutely no smell of sewage... Having received numerous objections and complaints, in addition to insistent requests for discounts, we offered to leave, committing to finding a replacement. We were told that you didn't want to leave, that everything was fine, and that they had simply made some clarifications. They also wanted to apologize to the owner... Room prices are perfectly in line with the services offered: rooms with private bathrooms equipped with towels, shower gel, slippers, a cosmetic kit, liquid hand soap, and a professional hairdryer with diffuser. Each room is equipped with radiators, air conditioning, a LED TV, and a safe, and is cleaned daily. Please note that the price includes free access to the terrace, which features a whirlpool tub, sun loungers, an umbrella, and an outdoor shower. Towels for use on the terrace are available free of charge upon request.
Wi - Fi is available throughout the property and works perfectly.
This "inconvenience" will strengthen the positive spirit we have been putting into this work for almost 10 years and will not have a negative impact since it is clear that all the objections you raised are derogatory and untrue, and this is confirmed by all the previous reviews received from guests from all over the world.
