The Calimala - First Time But Not The Last!
What a fabulous hotel! The location was steps away from everything in the Florence city center and we loved walking back and hearing the concerts in the leather market. I was in touch with the associates at reception months before I arrived and everyone was so responsive and helpful. Our room was lovely and a corner unit- we did have a bit of street noise one evening because we faced the street. One night I left my sweater in the restaurant and someone brought it to the room after I called. Our final night dinner at the rooftop Angel Bar was amazing. Seeing the sun set in Florence and all the classic building rooftops is something we will not forget. You made our vacation so special!

Wonderful Location and Vibe for our first visit to Florence!
Hotel Calimala was located right in the heart of the city! The atmosphere was modern and classy. Rooms were spacious. Gym was small but had everything needed. Hotel had a great rooftop bar that was wonderful with a great vibe!

Amazing!
With its fantastic location, great vibe, and perfect mix of traditional and contemporary decor, Hotel Calimala is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Our triple room was spotlessly clean and, with its corner position, we had views of the Duomo from one window and Arnolfo Tower and Angel from the other. Can highly recommend Angel, which we visited every evening for aperativo. Gorgeous views out across Florence, and the spritzes and meat and cheese antipasto were to die for! Special mention to Dario on reception, who made our stay extra special with his attentiveness and excellent recommendations. Absolutely amazing…we will be back!

Great stay

Convenient and beautiful
Hotel was beautiful, very clean rooms/gym and welcoming. Staff was very nice and tended to our requests. Breakfast was delicious but not included in your stay so prepare for that but reasonable price for all of the service you get! Hotel convenience is top tier as you’re in Duomo center and close to everything!
