This is a great location and perfect for a longer stay because the room was large and separated from a kitchenette and bathroom. We stayed on the fifth floor. The elevator was always accessible, and I believe there is also a penthouse that includes a rooftop patio above us. Great windows and shades kept the apartment dark and quiet. When you step outside, you are in the hustle and bustle of the Piazza Signoria. Great shopping, restaurants, coffee and gelato right outside.

Amazing location; very helpful front desk staff. Felt safe and was quiet. Quite spacious. The only issue was we couldn't get the AC cold enough but that might be American taste and we didn't ask for help to make it better. We were only there one night. No complaints just a comment.

The location could not have been better. It’s right in the center of everything. The building is old and the bedrooms are very small. I stayed in the penthouse Pitti. The elevator was not working on the day we had to check out so I had to carry all luggage from six floor down. The check in and check out was very easy.

A Perfect Florence Home Base

The location could not have been better—we easily walked from the train station with our luggage and then spent our entire stay exploring Florence on foot without ever needing a taxi.
The hotel/apartment was beautifully renovated while still maintaining the charm of the historic building. We loved having a separate living room and bedroom, which gave us much more space than a typical hotel room. The unit was thoughtfully equipped with a coffee maker, coffee cups, wine glasses, and a mini fridge, making it feel more like a home than a hotel.
The building itself was secure and had a lift, which was greatly appreciated after long days of sightseeing. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and well-maintained.
Our favorite part was opening the large windows and taking in the atmosphere of Florence. We could hear street musicians performing below, listen to the church bells ringing throughout the day, and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding historic buildings, including glimpses of the Duomo area.

Great central location. Quiet inside our room for how busy it was outside. The door to enter is right on the main square so everyone can see you coming and going. 2 issues we had were the AC stopped working during the night but they promptly fixed it the next day. The other thing, which i’m mostly writing this so the staff can see it and hopefully fix it for the next guest, the bathroom smelled like sewer. I’m not sure if the pipes need to be cleaned or what but it was quite unpleasant. Besides that, our stay was decent for a few nights.
