Loved out time at W Florence
Staff: Everyone was nice and super helpful
Rooms: very clean and tidy, and for Europe, it was an alright space and not too small
Location: it was walking distance from the train station (with very easy, hassle-free access via underground), which was perfect for us as we arrived and departed from there

Wonderful Stay at the W Florence!
My husband and I stayed at the W Florence during our Italy trip in May 2026. We selected the W due to its location and how close it was to the city center. We truly could walk to anywhere in the city! Prior to arriving, I connected with Aldo, head concierge, and he was incredibly helpful with arranging transportation for us prior to arrival and upon departure. Once we got to the hotel, we were warmly welcomed and our room was modern and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, with amazing service. I loved having the opportunity to also connect with Aldo in person! Of all the trips we’ve taken, and the many concierges I have met over the years, Aldo, by far, has been the best! He always finds a way to help. You can tell right away that this is more than just a job for him - he truly cares about his guests and wants the best for them during their stay at the W and in Florence. I highlight recommend this hotel for your visit to Florence, and make sure you connect with Aldo before or during your visit! Many thanks to the W Florence team for making our stay memorable!

Good location - that is about it.
The hotel is very centrally located, especially good if you arrive by train. Otherwise, there is not much to it. The rooms are new, but that is all. They are built so cheaply that some are already damaged (e.g., in the bathroom). The beds are good, but the room is very small. The service during breakfast is simply terrible. The order was incorrect on every day. Otherwise, there is a lack of quality common areas. The reception is at the side entrance. The service is far from the self-proclaimed luxury lifestyle claim. Overall, it is at most a Four Points, to stay within the Marriott range. For over €700/night in a standard room, it is simply poor.

Great Location, great staff
Loved my stay at the W Florence. Its new, stylish, and the staff are awesome.
4 minuts walking to the train station as we travelled from Roma it was very comfortable to get from the train and just walk to hotel. The hotel is close enough to walk to other sights of Florence. Staff and the reception were very helpfull. They responded immediately to any requests.
Special thanks to Jacobo from Roof bar for his friendly and supportive approach.
I will come again on my next trip with whole family.

Wonderful, the absolute best hotel of our Italian vacation!
The hotel is perfect in every way! Absolute best city center location, walkable to/from train but more importantly walkable to all the historic sites and best restaurants. The entire staff was amazing and treats you like family. From the moment you walk in and the friendly front desk team checks you in, every team member greets you with a smile and wants to help enhance your stay. Extra special shout out to Aldo at the Concierge Desk who is the absolute best - helpful, knowledgeable & friendly…gave us some wonderful recommendations & always followed up with us to see how things went and if we needed anything else. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!! Oh and the rooms are brand new, beautiful and have a wonderful modern marble bath with walk in shower. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back!!
