For the second time, excellent experience
I was a guest at this property for the second time. Very clean room and excellent welcome. Unfortunately it was not possible to swim in the pool due to the temperature.
Breakfast has been suspended since October 1st but they gave us vouchers to have breakfast in a pastry shop in Fossano. Here too, a nice environment, fresh products and courtesy.

Truly and excellent place to stay!
The owners are very friendly and helpful although they do not speak much English. We had a delicious breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs with toast. Extra bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese, butter and salami were on the sideboard. Frech fruits were available and 4 kinds of cakes and pies. Coffee, tea and different fruit drinks were offered to us.
The room we used had a very spacious and elegant bathroom and toiletries were provided. Our room had a queen bed and a single bed with ample space to move around. There was a corridor that went to the bedroom which had a closet and a table that had complimentary coffee and tea with a kettle. The beds were very comfortable and the beddings, linen and towels were clean and fresh smelling...no overpowering detergent or fabric softener smells. I hightly recommend this place and stay there again if I were to visit Fossano again.

Fantastic place and customer service beyond the imaginable!
We liked everything in Villa Laura! Not the least the beautiful and neatly decorated house and our fantastic 2-bedroom suite with spacious verandas and the very nice bathroom. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. Fans in the rooms kept the temperature comfortable low in July securing good night’s sleep. The pool area was great with nice sunbeds and thick towels were provided. The location just outside Fossano is in a safe and quite area and the wine yards in Barolo are only 15 minutes away. We were told that the breakfast was good. That's an understatement! The breakfast served was beyond our imagination. Laura is daily baking the croissants and the 4(!) cakes on the morning buffet, while Giacomo is making your bacon and eggs as well as preparing whatever hot and cold drinks that you want. Obviously, also the jams and marmalades are homemade by Laura. It became clear for us that Villa Laura is much more than just a B&B deal for our hosts. This is about treating all guests as they are personal invites and provide not just perfect customer services, but also ensuring that everything has been done to ensure that guests has the best possible stay in their B&B. On the other hand the guest’s privacy is also carefully considered and respected. As you can see Villa Laura and its owners Laura and Giacomo completely overwhelmed us! Villa Laura must be the best B&B in Europe and Italy can be proud of hosts like them! We will return to Fossano and Villa Laura because this summer we got ourselves some new friends here :)!

Relax, Eat, swim and be merry!
Villa Laura offers a great accomodation. Our room was huge, we were impressed! It looked like a room in a resort! It had a hall with tea, coffee, water. The bathroom, enormous, with a bathtub, beautiful details, such attention! The room was medium size, but quite nice. Comfy bed. The breakfast: oh my..what can I say. It was more like a brunch! Laura's pies were to die for! we took some slices for the road! Great jams, capucchino, bread..
We took a dive in the pool, the water was a bit cold but the sun was hot!:)
Laura and her husband were extra nice.. I even lost my hearing in the sink and they went and got it! I said I'd give them a 10 for that but it wasn't just for that! It was all of it! It is a bit pricy for the area, but it is money well spent for a couple of days relaxing! Don't forget to visit Fossano, The Aperols are cheap and the village is charming!

A fabulous experience
We've just returned from 2 weeks at Villa Laura and the accommodation and service were second to none.
Laura and James were perfect hosts who made us very welcome. Where to begin? At the beginning: breakfast. We were the only guests but each morning the table was laid with a complete array of goodies including freshly baked cakes, made by Laura. Now I never eat cakes for breakfast but ... it would have been rude not to! So I forced myself to sample chocolate cake, apple cake, hazelnut cake ...
We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather during our stay so each morning we were able to enjoy our breakfast sitting at our beautifully-laid table by the swimming pool.
Ah, yes, the beautifully-maintained swimming pool. Very welcome with the temperatures in the high 20s that we experienced. And the garden is very private and tranquil.
And our room, well, it was more like an apartment with bedroom, hall and huge bathroom. Plus, fridge, wifi, chocolate treats, and electric adaptors as ours didn't work in Italy.
But the most praise must go to Laura and James. James spoke a little English - about as much as we spoke Italian - but with the aid of a translator app on his phone - which we both then also downloaded - we managed some pretty good conversations. They were both very friendly, helpful and generous.
I can't recommend this bed and breakfast enough. If you're passing through do take the opportunity to stay there. You won't be disappointed.
