excellent experience
I stayed for three nights with my 10 year old son. clean room and owner very nice and helpful.
great location to move on foot to both the station and the streets of the center.
around the bnb there are plenty of restaurants, ice cream parlors and takeaway pizzerias for a quick meal.

A Special Stay
I would highly and whole-heartedly recommend anyone visiting Frascati to stay at the B&B Theodora. The B&B and this small pearl of a town being a perfect match. The rooms are large and tastefully furnished and decorated, with a mix of the old and the new, which beautifully compliments the historical architectural setting and fixtures of the building in which the B&B is located. Yet it does none of this at the expense of comfort (and of course immaculate cleanliness). The large bathrooms on the other hand are completely modern, with fluffy towels and nicely scented toiletries. You also have complete run of a well equipped kitchen - with basic breakfast goodies, coffee and fresh fruit on offer - should you not wish to take advance of the possibility of breakfast at one of two cafes. The whole is so quiet and private that it is almost like living in your own flat. Yet, should you lack or need anything the hosts, Loretta and Claudio, will happily and generously supply it immediately. Indeed, it is the hosts and their patient, gracious and friendly thoughtfulness, that elevates the experience of staying at Theodora to simply superb.

Amazing experience in Frascati!
This is a special, unmissable secret place in the heart of the amazing, relaxing Frascati (please, somehow, keep it a little secret, ha!). A private elevator in a medieval building will bring you in another dimension, full of beauty, sobriety and silence. Theodora is a romantic B&B with class and history (yet with modern, clean and nicely decorated bathrooms). To give you an idea: you will sleep with frescos on the ceiling. There is a parking lot ($) a few steps from the B a lot of restaurants in the area; the Frascati's Cathedral is a just 3 minutes walk. The Villa Aldobrandini at 5 minutes. The owners of Theodora run a fantastic art gallery just by the B&B's building: do not miss it, it really deserves a visit...

Gem of Frascati
We found B&B Theodora on Booking.com and reserved it for 1 night on a 2 week tour through Italy.
Loretta -- the owner --met us and took us up a secure elevator to a beautiful oasis in the center of the city -- modern furnishings in an antique setting; cool, comfortable. A charming eat in kitchen and a master bedroom that was air conditioned (much needed), all clean, neat and welcoming. She had stocked the refrigerator with a few things -- water, yogurt -- and had fresh fruit out for us.
Not only were the accommodations comfortable and reasonably priced at 95 euro-- but the owner was an exceptional concierge for our stay -- one of the best we encountered in Italy. She gave us recommendations for site seeing, and dinner. And then she arrange a private viewing of one of the major Villas in Frascati, which was closed on the Saturday when we visited Frascati-- but she had a student meet us and make sure we could take a look. It was the highlight -- and all because Loretta had looked out for us! We left with a lovely 18th century print of the city of Frascati purchased from Loretta's antique shop, which is next to her B&B. A real gem.

Gli ospiti sono persone, non cose. Stanza fredda, tanta maleducazione e arroganza gratuite.
Il signore che ci ha accolto, immediatamente dopo il check in, ci ha chiesto la "cortesia" di cancellare le prossime prenotazioni perché lui deve subire un intervento e non ha nessuno che lo aiuti. Eppure, la volta precedente ci ha accolto una signora gentilissima, proprio perché lui era assente e la mia valutazione era stata 10 su 10. Bisogna saperci fare con gli ospiti. Il signore non si è preoccupato di trovare un'altra sistemazione per noi ed è stato poco educato e molto arrogante quando ho espresso il mio turbamento. L'ho invitato a fare la cancellazione in modo ufficiale attraverso la piattaforma usata per fare la prenotazione. Mi sono sentita rispondere che lui, pur non conoscendomi, aveva capito che ero "na grana" (testuali parole) e che non mi importa di nulla e di nessuno, che il vero disagio lo subisce lui che deve operarsi e che io sono "ingrata". Non mi è chiaro di cosa dovrei essere grata dal momento che ho pagato solo per passare una giornata in cui il signore me ne ha dette di tutti i colori.
La stanza era fredda. Aria condizionata non presente come invece dichiarata nella descrizione al momento della prenotazione. La stanza infatti era molto diversa dalla prima volta. Su nostra richiesta ci è stata fornita una stufetta che purtroppo non riscaldava un ambiente grande e la sua luminosità non ha permesso un buon riposo notturno. Entrambe le lampadine accanto al letto non funzionavano. Ho mandato un video per dimostrarlo ma lui ha continuato a negare. Allego foto e video della stufetta che non ha riscaldato un ambiente così grande e causa la sua luminosità, non mi ha permesso di dormire. Allego foto della stanza fredda e illuminate fastidiosamente dalla stufetta.
