Paradise holiday!

I do not know where to start but I do.Starting from the Welcoming of Attilio very kind who even took care of my car, parking it in their private parking,Attilio special person who every morning delighted us with his breakfasts filled with his personal stories and accompanied by the history of the city and also made us cicero on places to visit and where to eat for lunch and dinner,Attilio vote 10.Mrs. Rosa: she simply wants to be called Rosa her breakfasts are spacey, from croissants to toast to cappuccinos served on a panoramic terrace with breathtaking views,Rosa woman of yesteryear for her good morning never fails smiling every morning despite the great work she does in the residence, surrounded by her three fantastic grandchildren who brightened our mornings and that my daughter has tied a lot, a salute to the 3 puppies.Rosa vote 10 and praise. The heavenly structure, in the morning open the windows and enjoy the immensity of the sea without a minimum noise except the bus that runs through the Amalfi roads and ships that sail under the structure and in the immense.Very few rooms and this makes a surreal silence and without any annoyance.Do not be fooled by the slightly bumpying road, this will lead you to paradise that then you will regret when it is time to leave. In 4 days the
The most beautiful holiday ever experienced together with the
My famiglia.Un salutane to Attilio, Rose to the 3 puppies and we will see you soon in the Marche between Ascoli Piceno and Grottammare for the
stones and shells and a nice lunch all together.

Sea-view

My friends and I were guests in this small residence near Agerola. We were welcomed by the legendary Alfonso who explained to us with grace and kindness everything that the coast offered, giving us valuable advice on the activities we can do and on the clubs in the area. The residence has a crazy view of the coast, has a small, clean and well-kept swimming pool where you can take a nice swim and there are also comfortable areas where you can lie down and get some sun and there is also the possibility of being able to have an excellent aperitif. The room was spotless, full of comforts and the breakfast was plentiful with the possibility of choice, and believe me drinking a good coffee with that view is priceless. I sincerely thank the owners who are very kind and sweet but above all available for every need. We will absolutely return.

Amazing views but nothing else.

Amazing views but that's it, apartment was spacious but tired and dated broken cupboard handles, cooker didn't work, apartment was cold patio was dangerous as slabs were not cemented down we tripped all the time. The owner is only interested in making money from you, late arrival charge swimming cap a charge linen charge for very old and worn towels, the villa is of the beaten track a good 20 minutes walk from a small town with a handful of restaurants and bars no supermarket just tiny fruit veg butchers and a fishmonger. You have to check out at 10.00 and be of site no matter what time your flight is, we were given the chance to stay and use the facilities of the next apartment by friends we made just a quick wash a brush up we sat on their patio area but when we left we were presented with a letter from the owner expressing her disappointment because we had a quick wash and a cup of tea for free SORRY but you don't treat paying guest this way. would not recomend to far out would not return . Defiantly need a car and not recommended for any body with mobility issues. Much nicer just a bit lower and warmer.

Dear lady,
How many lies ... tell how things really went ...
We greeted you warmly and made to find food on your arrival.
You said it was all beautiful and perfect and filled with kisses from your husband (like Judas before betraying Jesus).
We were available in everything, taken to do the shopping, accompanied to take the taxi, go back in the evening to the center for dinner etc without ever asking for a penny.
This is money attachment.
The expenses you paid were all provided by the contract. You have to ask them!
Do you think the towels were worn, so did you find them dirty with blood? Not to mention the dirt you left around ...
The kitchen is perfectly functional ... who tells us that you did not break the stove ... on your arrival it worked fine!
So how did you break two bedside glasses in the bedroom and want to rub them even more you covered them with newspapers !!!.
It is not written anywhere that we are in the city center ... if you wanted great supermarkets you had to go elsewhere.
Our house is a 10 minute walk to the nearest center.
We have allowed you to stay in the structure until the 14th even if the time was 10. It is not our fault if your plane was later.
Know your arrival and departure times when you have booked at the agency.
For quick shower as you say you could do it well before leaving your apartment without taking advantage of it until the end of our kindness.
You will not be back ... no matter.
We will continue to be kind to our guests despite you.

Awesome view but that is all...

We travelled as a family with small children to the Amalfi Coast for a wedding and spent 3 nights at Residence Eden.
It's important to say at this point that this apartment would be absolutely ideal if you are a couple looking for a central location for exploring the coast with a fantastic view and nice terrace to drink wine in the evening.
However as a family with small children it was overall a bad experience.
Upon arrival we were wowed by the view and had been met by Rosa at a nearby hotel and led to the apartment. Rosa's English was limited as was our Italian but we were shown around the apartment and the welcome was friendly. However it became apparent that what we had believed was a 2 bedroomed apartment with pool, was in fact 2 one bedroomed apartments in a group of 4 with a very small shared pool. 2 adults would struggle to stretch their legs out. For us the lay out of these apartments was completely not what we had expected from the write up and useless for our purposes as our children are both under 5 and their bedroom would have been behind a locked shuttered door in the next apartment. We had tried to email before hand to arrange a cot bed, but had been unable to contact Rosa by email. So the 4 of us ended up sharing one bedroom with a camp bed we had found unmade. On the website it claims that the apartment also came with a sofa bed so it can be used for 3 adults, but when we investigated the sofa bed ourselves found it to have spider bodies and bugs with a mattress so distressed I wouldn't let my dog sleep on.
But we got by and were happy enough with it all.
We had naively skimmed over the terms and conditions expecting the usual small cleaning fee and city tax but on arrival Rosa told us that we would have to pay €64 for cleaning, €10 for wifi (website stated free), city tax and €10 per person for towels/linen. So well in excess of €100 over 3 nights. At this point also Rosa tried to charge us for our children to have towels although we had brought towels for them.
The following morning, we were a little put out when at breakfast we noticed Rosa cleaning the adjacent apartment and instead of enquiring how our stay was, Rosa asked us to make our children quiet as she had new guests that day. We are not precious parents we realise our children can be noisy at times, but not any more than any other children.
This may have seemed worse because of the language barrier but we have always been used to the hosts being very friendly towards our children and struck me as rude.
Later that day we had a carrier bag of rubbish which we placed in the bins on the driveway, but Rosa came out and said these should not be used and instead we should take it to the main road for collection.
On leaving we tidied the room and left only a couple of clean plates on the draining board and a carrier bag of rubbish and proceeded to hand over the keys. Rosa came to inspect the room with us, and again told us to remove the rubbish ourselves but then told us that she would be charging us extra for the towels we had already paid for as she believed we had let our children use them. We disputed this and she was not happy and we felt we left on bad terms carrying the rubbish away with us.
This might seem like we are being picky and it is hard perhaps to convey why this wasn't a good experience, but we have stayed in a number of villas in Italy, France and Spain and have always found the hosts beyond accommodating and zealous. We didn't feel comfortable and almost felt like we were a problem. Especially when, some Italian guests arrived and were made coffees, given sun loungers for the pool and offered breakfast. But we had none of this. As a family our biggest concern was we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and this was not what it was, and if our children were any bigger it could have been a major issue.
On a another note, there are no windows in the bedroom or bathroom and it felt damp and a little dated. The terrace was not safe for children. The pool had no steps or stairs, and no depth marked which made it difficult to access.
Overall.
Either of the apartments would have been suitable for a couple who I'm sure would be more than happy with the view, location and cleanliness. But we found as a family it was unsuitable and could not work out what on earth we were paying the extortionate cleaning fee for if we had to pay for towels and linen extra, tidy the apartment before we left and remove all of our own rubbish off the property.
We wouldn't recommend this apartment because we could have got better for the price we paid.

Hello,
Let's clear some of your points ...
The apartment you chose is explained in the details on your agency's website. It says that there are two rooms and that they are not communicating with each other
. Tell us that you tried to contact us by mail, but just come knocking on the door, we are upstairs ... The next day you could ask for help if you needed it.
You could choose the other adjoining apartment that is most suitable for those with small children.
Extra charges are listed in the rental contract, we did not take one more euro than we owe.
Also for a few days there is a final cleaning of € 16 per person. The wifi is not included as well as linen (please contact your agency to refuse not to us). We gave you 4 bed linen and you paid for only two, even if you used it all.
We did not discriminate with Italian guests ... simply the adjoining room offers the b & b service so I include breakfast and daily cleaning.
The pool had been opened the previous day for maintenance and could not be used again so the ladder and loungers were missing.
The opening was from April 16th coma you can check to your agency and not the 5th April day of your stay.
As we do
We apologize if you believed that we wanted to rebuke your children but we just wanted to avoid problems between you and other guests.
