Comfortable and welcoming overnight stay.

Cozy, clean, quiet, and comfortable.
A stopover, found a convenient bathroom, breakfast also with fresh fruit, courtesy, and fair prices.

Strengths, limitations and defects

Stayed for three days, taking advantage of the really strategic location, given the commitments in the area, although then, in the evening, you have to take the car if you want to take a walk in some center with a minimum of entertainment. Negative or, at least, unpleasant aspects: the inevitable request for payment on arrival, the poor soundproofing between one room and another, the poor and little varied breakfast: three flavors of fruit juice from the distributor, but of identical flavor and color, hot drinks dispenser that denounces the weight of the years (I do not recommend looking at the back), some expired biscuits, pieces of cake and croissants from the ancient air and supermarket. Not to mention the management of the room: a lady who, when asked if the cakes are homemade, mumbles an annoyed answer in I don't know what language, only to turn into all smiles, once she has made her understand that it has nothing to do with the newcomers.
Positive aspects: kindness, total availability for any request and high professionalism of all the staff in charge of reception and cleaning rooms. Good value for money.

A wonderful little hotel between Parma and Reggio Emilia. A lot of character, very nice rooms, and wonderful staff. Morena, in particular, was very helpful answering all of our questions and being patient with my mediocre Italian. Will definitely stay at Hotel Tricolore again when in the area.

Comfortable hotel

Classic “business” hotel halfway between Parma and Reggio Emilia: friendly staff, clean rooms and equipped with essential services. Interesting rate, especially during the week, as well as good and abundant breakfast buffet.
