We were here for the second time and totally thrilled again!! The family run hotel is worth a visit and we highly recommend it! Very nice rooms, everything new and super clean! Great Service, very nice attentive staff, such as Regina at reception, who also speaks very good German and is always helpful. Also the whole family Viola is super nice and friendly! Breakfast is great, everything is always fresh and offers something for every taste. Scrambled eggs, fried eggs, etc. are prepared fresh for everyone on request. Dinner is fantastic and we always feel like king and queen. It is a delicious and also exceptionally good cuisine, which is also served great! Please continue the same way! They're dog-friendly, too. Our Dachshund Emil also always feels very comfortable! We will of course come back next year!

Has Potential, but Falls Short of 4 Stars
The hotel is marketed as a 4-star hotel, and it could easily become one, but unfortunately, it currently feels more like a 3-star property.
The hotel building seems brand new (or completely renovated), as do the rooms. We were assigned a room on the second floor and had a nice view of the lake.
Breakfast was good, and the hotel staff is very friendly.
The pool is extremely small - like VERY small. I wouldn't really call it a pool.
The location is quite far from the lake and not within walking distance, especially on the way back, as it is all uphill. On the plus side, parking is ample and free.
The biggest disappointment of all was the room decor. It is such a shame and a real missed opportunity. The room doesn't feel like a hotel room, but more like a cheap rental apartment. The furniture looks as though it was bought from a basic hardware store, and the bed linens are very rough and no actual blanket (they provide a sheet as a blabket). The in-room safe is TINY - forget fitting a laptop in it, as it barely fit our passports and wallets. While the room has air conditioning, it is a wall-mounted unit (which feels cheap, even though it's a Daikin), and it turns off whenever you touch the balcony door. It doesn't just pause and resume when you close the door - it completely shuts off, requiring you to manually turn it back on every time, which is very annoying.
The room was clean though with a daily housekeeping.
Overall, that's why it felt like a miss for me. The hotel truly has the potential to be a great 4-star property - the building is brand new and the staff is wonderful - it just needs a good interior designer and a bit of investment in better furniture and linens.

Hotel not up to 4-star standards.
The suites are not high-end, and the furnishings are not suitable for a suite. The hotel's location is fairly convenient, but the road is very busy.
The pool is tiny with a maximum capacity of 4/5 people, and there are not enough lounge chairs for all the guests, not even for half of them.
The restaurant is excellent, with delicious dinner and refined dishes.
The reception staff were exceptional.
Breakfast is good but not very extensive, often with cakes from the day before.
The toilet paper (square napkins) kept in a locked dispenser is unacceptable, and furthermore, we ran out because it wasn't restocked during the morning cleaning service.
The same goes for the tissues; the dispenser was empty and, in any case, had been used by previous guests.
They should be kinder and more cordial with customers; a few more smiles from the owner wouldn't hurt.

Disastrous
Disaster bad hotel in relation to the price tag. Booked a Tuesday and realized the mistake Wednesday also tried to cancel.
They refused without us paying 3000 SEK in cancellation fee.
Totally inflexible staff.
Pool & gym is a joke.
We stayed before in the village and everything was so much cozier and nicer there.
Unfortunately, bottom bite on the trip.

Hotel is great, restaurant is not as good after the renovation.
Hotel, room, service are among the best in the entire Lake Garda area. Unfortunately, since the renovation of the restaurant, there are no more pizzas or other regular dishes available. The prices are high, but the quality is top-notch. Since the distance to the old town is quite considerable, the quality of the hotel cannot compensate for the unsuitable menu of the restaurant for us.
