Very happy despite first impressions

When we first arrive we were somewhat disappointed with the hotel. The vibes are a bit old fashion (but well presented) and like other reviews the showers were very small. However after the first impressions we were then happy. Overall staff is nice (the only person I need to point out as not being as nice is one of the receptionists. I think he was a bit unpatient/arrogant with myself and my partner when we first arrive to the hotel). The breakfast is good, fresh bread, strong coffee. If you ask, they are able to accommodate some of your preferences (they managed to get me lactose free yogurt). Only downside is that the hotel could have way more fruit variety. The hotel overall is quiet, most guests are middle aged and you have a few kids, but by 6pm you have pretty much all pool for yourself and the water is warm which is a bonus. You can also play tennis/gym if you wish
Another positive is that you can use their bikes for free, so we ended up cycling to bardolino a few times which is nice and the hotel has excellent location - 5 min walk to the boats, 3 min to the city centre and 8 min to the bus stop. We were also lucky on the week we visited they did wine tasting one day and another day they provided some drinks and free snacks to the guests. We really enjoyed our stay.

July 2026 - a great break in a well run and hospitable hotel

A lovely week spent in a well run and friendly hotel. A great breakfast with plenty of choice to set you up for the day. Spotlessly clean and plenty to see and do in Garda. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

Hotel Garden, Lake Garda, Garda

We would like to thank all the staff at Hotel Garden for making our holiday so enjoyable. Every member of the team was welcoming, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The free bike hire was amazing and helped us explore Bardolino and Lazise on our first day. We especially loved the pool area, which was peaceful, spacious, and never crowded, with plenty of sun loungers available throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely Italian hotel in great location

Perfect location in town but peaceful spot. Stunning views so definitely go for the lake view. The Mountain View rooms were quite dark (we tried both types of room). Pool area is lovely, delicious breakfast mainly continental with cooked egg option to order. Plenty to do in the area.

What a gem of a place!

We didn't really know what to expect when we booked the hotel but within 10 minutes of arrival we already knew we had made a brilliant choice. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful and all done with a smile on their faces. The hotel is immaculate from top to bottom and the service was first class for everything whether that be breakfast , lunch or just drinks. We booked a room with balcony overlooking the pool and out to the lake based on comments we read on trip advisor. What a great decision this was. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel if you want to cared for and enjoy peaceful surroundings.
