Wonderful Visit and Hosts

I stayed here with my sister, brother in law, and best friend for a weekend last summer and it was incredible. If you're looking for a secluded, authentic, and hospitable Italian experience, I can't recommend Villa Maia enough. Just a short walk into town or a short drive to the coast, but it's so wonderful at the villa that you hardly ever need to leave! The owners, their daughter, and even their dog Nana are the best too!

A gem in the hills above Genova

The ten year old house is built in the local style and lies in a chestnut grove above the village of Ognio, neer Neirone. It is not exactly centrally located, but the ideal place if you need a time out away . I especially enjoyed lazing in one of the hammocks near the house. All the amenities are modern, including a self contained kitchen and a well functioning wifi.

Best place we found in Italy

Just by chance we found this lovely apartment B and B in the hills of Liguria. We got a warm welcome, even at 9.30 at night, wi-fi, comfortable beds, great breakfast and best of all, a real bath. Pure bliss!

Appartamento con 3 camere da letto e bellissimo esterno, perfetto in tutto e pulitissimo, compreso garage per moto...possibilità di ottimo ristorante raggiungibile a piedi e proprietaria molto cordiale ...grazie, alla prossima..ciao dai bikers Marco, Andrea e Stefano

Meraviglia!

Posto veramente incantevole, abbarbicato sul fianco dell'altura, un oasi di pace immerso nel verde dei boschi, il paradiso per chi desidera "staccare la spina"! Sono rimasto impressionato dal livello della sistemazione (intero appartamento con 3 camere da letto, cucina, salotto, bagno...bellissimo), dalla possibilità di rimanere all'aperto (con tanto di amaca e griglia!) ma soprattutto dalla cura del dettaglio anche più insignificante: c'è veramente qualsiasi cosa e la titolare è super gentile e disponibile. Per gli amici biker da segnalare che le nostre amate possono riposare in un box chiuso. Consigliatissimo!!!
