A very pleasant stay.

I stayed three nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience; the rooms are new and equipped with everything necessary, and the staff is truly kind and helpful. The location is convenient for those, like me, arriving by train and allows access to all the main attractions on foot.
By booking in advance, I also found excellent prices.

Great little budget hotel.

Excellent little hotel, close to the bus/rail stations and with easy access to the marina, bars and restaurants.
Staff were friendly and very helpful, even bringing breakfast to the room each morning.
The room was small but had everything you need including a nice, modern bathroom.
Some may wish to avoid walking down Via de Pre when returning to the hotel late at night, but the hotel can easily be reached from Via Balbi.
Overall for the price, this is an excellent option for a short stay.

The excellent thing with the hotel is the service. Very welcoming from when i checked in until i checked out. Room was clean and there was a fridge, safe and kettle. A little oddity was my bathroom was accross the corridor. The hotel is conveniently located for train station and also a short walk to the main Genoa attractions. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and although basic it does the job and sets you up for the day

The rooms are small and the hotel sits on a hill where one cannot take a taxi to. One must walk up or down from the hotel. This means you better be in shape. The street is somewhat noisy even during the night. One thing nice was the church bell ringing at 7:30 in the morning for us to get up to. The hotel is also very close to the Railway station which was important for us. The breakfast was just coffee and rolls.

It is unbelievable that such a good albergo can exist for this friendly rate. Helpful reception and close by railway station. Of course, do not expect great views from the windows, but it was a great plus to have everything to make coffee and tea in the room, and have a fridge
