Great room, super service... every question was answered.

Very good location with a wonderful view. Nice room with a large balcony and a view of the harbor.
Functional air conditioning, a bathroom with all comforts.

Horrible

Bluripa Guest House describes itself as a "bed and breakfast". I'm not sure what are the requirements to qualify under that category. The ONLY advantage of this place is the view, if you are lucky to have a room facing the old port. I'm giving this review 2 stars only because of the view. Although the old port itself is charming, the area where Bluripa is located is quite sketchy.
The instructions to access the building and the room where confusing and not clear. We could get inside the guest house by knocking at the door and thanks to the housekeeper that happened to be there and opened for us. It was not until later that they sent us a text with the entry codes. The "guest house" is within a 12+floor building that has offices and appartments. The building is horrendous, the elevators who knows when they were last inspected. The "guest house" is like an appartment among many on the 11th floor, which has been divided into rooms which are rented out. There's absolutely no one at the reception desk, we briefly saw a person there for maybe an hour one of the days only. The room we had had a large window and balcony facing the port. There were heavy curtains, difficult to open and close, they would barely slide, they were maybe 12" too long. Therefore, they swipe the floor everytime you open or close them, collecting so much dust. When was thenlast time they were washed? Probably never. The sheets were super thin, with no extra bed cover. The TV screen was broken, with partial view (ok, you're not going to Genoa to watch TV, but still...). Pics included.

Excellent stay!

I stayed with my family from July 10 to July 12, 2026. Very clean guest house, with very beautiful rooms! We had number 3, with a spectacular view of the port and the aquarium. Spacious and very well maintained! No limescale even on the faucets... excellent!
Very kind and very helpful staff. They provided us with a lot of useful information for our stay in Genoa even before our departure!
Another positive aspect is that it is located close to all the main attractions of the city! Whether you want to go to the aquarium or you want to go to the historic center. Served by the subway 2 minutes (maybe not even) away on foot.
Absolutely positive experience!!! I recommend it and if we were to return to Genoa, we would definitely stay here.

Great for a city trip or before a cruise

We have already been to the Bluripa Guest House 3 times and would come back again and again.
Beautiful rooms right by the old harbor. Wonderful view of the harbor. Great starting point for exploring the city, aperitivo. Breakfast cafes in the immediate vicinity.
Parking garage directly opposite. Check-in/out fast and uncomplicated.
