Great hotel. Location perfect. Staff helpful.

Excellent hotel, lovely large room, the staff are helpful.
You take breakfast (and the bar or restaurant if you want) in the linked sister hotel which is very grand. Breakfast is lovely.
A great location, right by the train station for connections (including airport velobus) and a 10/20 minute walk to town.

The room was clean and comfortable, and staying in a historic building gave the hotel some character. However, parking was quite inconvenient. It cost €35 per day, and the parking facility was located several hundred metres away from the hotel, which made arriving with luggage more difficult than expected. Overall, the room itself was fine, but the parking situation could definitely be improved.

Loved this hotel.
We were travelling through Italy by train and stopped off here for a couple of nights. Handily right outside station with plenty of restaurants around. Recently refurbished to a high standard.

Recommended for those staying in Genoa with family

Good level property, spacious room, helpful and courteous reception, excellent value for money.
My daughter was celebrating her birthday and the management had an ice bucket with a bottle of prosecco and a greeting card sent to us, kindnesses now forgotten but which make all the difference.

Genoa Weekend July 2026

Welcoming hotel, in front of the Principe station. Antique furniture decor and granite floors. Beautiful! Breakfast at the “twin” Hotel Savoia, a beautiful location equipped with a fitness room and hot tub on the panoramic terrace. Hotel Savoia is also charming!
