Overall pleasant stay but not for too long
After a week’s holiday on the Riviera at the end of May 2018, we stayed here one night, just before our flight back home the following day, so location-wise it is very good for the airport.
It is within walking distance from Genova Sampierdarena train station but if you want to visit Genova city centre you must take a bus so this is not ideal if you like central locations.
Inexpensive B&B, this is basically a flat “converted” into a B&B. It has two bedrooms (one for each customer/couple/family), a lounge (used for breakfast) and a bathroom with washing machine/toilet/sink/bidet/shower. If I remember correctly it is located on the 1st floor.
Basic breakfast: tea/coffee, fruit, packed pastries; however some lovely focaccia was provided by the landlord, during our stay the landlord’s wife had also made two very nice cakes.
Cleanliness-wise it was ok, the bedroom was clean to a good standard, some areas of the bathroom were not very clean but not too much of a trouble.
Kind landlord, he even did us an invaluable favour at the end of our stay, this alone deserves a good rating and that's the reason why I've given it a 4 rather than 3.
We were also provided with a little bed for our daughter free of charge!
The area where the block of flats is located in a bit run-down. The main door to access the building screeches quite a lot every time people go in and out as it rubs against the floor, this needs sorting as it is very annoying.
Overall I wouldn’t stay here for more than 1 or 2 nights as it is not my ideal accommodation type.

Friendly and good located cafe bistro
We dropped by the cafe to drink something after a tour of old city of Genova. The cafe is located onto sea. Especially at night it can be a good choice to drink sth or eat. When we had been there, good livemusic was performed by a group. It is cheap and the staff are polite.

Amazing hospitality!
Me and my wife stayed there for one day and were pleasantly amazed by the service provided by the owners. I will highly recommend a stay here if anyone visits Genoa. The owners run it like a family business and take care of cleanliness personally. The rooms are large, well lit and have comfortable couch and bed. The bathroom, although shared, is very clean and the owner checks very frequently if anything needs attention.
As soon as we reached the room, we were offered very good coffee and was surprised to know about the unliited free supply of cofee, water and some snacks. Over the coffee he explained very tirelessly all the details about the city and about the nearby area. The place may look a bit outside the city centre, but it is very well connected 24*7 and only 15 minutes away by bus from city centre. Airport is also very near by. If I ever go to Genoa again, there will be no second thoughts about staying here.

Отличные апартаменты
Это уютная комната в квартире хозяина. Хозяин очень вежлив, хорошо говорит по-английски. Если контента машине, то заранее предупредите его и он забронирует вам место на общественной парковке. Мы об этом не позаботились, но он вежливо предложил нам помочь, сначала мы поехали в гараж его товарища, но не влезли. После этого он с нами поехал помогать искать парковку. Нашли неподалёку платную, за которую он любезно оплатил 2 евро, дабы помочь хоть как-то. Все это время рассказывал где лучше поесть, на каком автобусе ехать до центра. С утра был плотный завтрак (он рассказывал что знает, что русские плотно едят по утрам), была фокачча с луком и свежеиспеченный лимонный пирог, американо. В комнате отличная кованая кровать с длинным матрасом (я 1м92см).

Tutto perfetto.
Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo soggiornato in questo b&b per un week end, ci siamo trovati benissimo sin da subito in quanto il padrone di casa è stato perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista, ci ha aiutato a trovare un posto auto gratuito vicinissimo all'appartamento e ci ha accolto con grande simpatia e cordialità, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. La camera era ordinata, pulitissima, colorata e con un letto davvero comodo. Il bagno dotato di tutto l'occorrente e lindo.
Al mattino abbiamo trovato una fantastica colazione ad attenderci nella sala da pranzo, il signor Antonio ci ha perfino portato la famosa focaccia genovese calda di forno, una delizia, e poi latte, caffe, succhi di frutta, biscotti.....c'era anche un minifrigo con bottigliette di acqua a disposizione. L'appartamento è collegato molto bene con i mezzi pubblici, le fermate dei bus e la stazione di Sanpierdarena a due passi. Il signor Antonio è davvero una persona squisita, premuroso con i suoi ospiti e sempre disponibile, si vede subito che fa il suo lavoro con passione e competenza. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
