Although it is not a real hotel but has an almost rent-a-room concept, it is really very nice and cared for. The room (quadruple) well furnished with the style of the palace, with the correct spaces, bright and clean. Small but clean bathroom, white and fluffy linen. Really super welcome. Breakfast in a wonderful attic with porcelain and silverware complete with Indian butler from courteous and noble ways, shame about the little choice in salty but still nothing was missing. Perfect location to visit the city. SUPER RECOMMENDED!

Firstly, I would like to say that the man at the front desk was nice, but communication prior to my arrival was dreadful! I wanted to amend my booking within 8hrs of booking it, and was given the run around!!! I ended up paying for a supposedly bigger room which was the same size as the supposed smaller room, it just had an extra bed squashed in there that made it feel very small and not even big enough to accommodate three people let alone five! The breakfast was good and so was the location, so it’s a shame the customer service and the overpriced room size was a huge letdown!!
The restaurant at the entrance is highly recommended! We ate there several times it was so good!!

Ancient building in great location

The strength of this structure is the strategic position, close to the port, aquarium and other within walking distance, and at the same time contiguous to the main roads leading to downtown.
It is an ancient palace and therefore it is obvious that the style is very classic even if some small improvement is always possible.
Sufficient breakfast also improveable especially in the salty.
Very nice and helpful staff.
Basically definitely recommended especially for families.

Downtown

We visited the aquarium of Genoa and could not find a better Accommodation than this ; in front of the aquarium and in the center. It is not a real hotel or “palace” as it is located inside a condominium but it is certainly the envy of many other structures. It is located on the top floor of the condominium and has a breathtaking view. Spacious and clean rooms, very nice owner, super breakfast service! Definitely to go back
