True Italian hospitality

A charming inn with every comfort and stylish furnishings as well as a large and well-kept outdoor garden, which is the gem of this place. An oasis of tranquility in the middle of greenery. Hospitality very welcome. Breakfast with quality products (croissants, pastries, cakes).

Questionable quality, the best comes to payment, a price for cash is about 10% more for credit cards.... What aaa!!!

Idyllic Setting.

Arrived late for check in after struggling for a taxi in a very busy nearby Frascati. However the receptionist was still on duty and welcomed me in with a friendly check in.
The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. A good nights sleep followed by a great power shower ahead of a lovely breakfast with lots of choices of pastries, cheese meats and bread. The staff are very efficient and super friendly. I took time to walk around the hotel and it’s beautiful gardens on the hillside overlooking Grottaferrata and it really is idyllic.
100% recommended.

A nightmare at Christmas

A destination chosen this year at Christmas with the family to try an experience different from lunch at home in a venue specializing in events. Nice place even if filled to the improbable. The experience was absolutely negative; the food bad especially the second, practically only bones and fat; also the inadequate service with waiters evidently recruited for the occasion, very slow between courses. At one point you could even hear screams coming from the kitchen as in the best traditions of Nightmare Kitchens.
And a nightmare was also our lunch

Bad experience

I've never eaten so badly...maybe because it was Christmas...set menu of bad quality. I remembered very different cuisine of the Castelli Romani.
The place is very nice and the setting in the Roman hills fantastic, but also the stomach would like its share.
