Hotel I would recommend

Nice hotel with all the services as described.
The room is furnished a bit "vintage" but it didn't cause us any problems, so it's a matter of personal taste.
Nice pool with appropriate outdoor and indoor temperature, so it's pleasant in the late afternoon to relax a bit.
Excellent service both during breakfast/dinner and in providing advice for our excursion or bike rental requests (10% discount).
I would like to point out that we had a small problem with the shower, which they fixed immediately the morning after we reported it, and we really liked that.
The bathroom, like the whole room, was well cleaned and welcoming.
I truly recommend this hotel.

A hotel that makes you feel at home

We spent a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Brandl and we would return without any doubt.
The only reason why I am not awarding 5 stars is that the room decor is a bit dated and the hair dryer was the fixed wall-mounted type, a bit inconvenient especially for those who, like me, have long hair. These are details that, if improved, would make the experience truly perfect.
For the rest, everything was excellent. The cleanliness is impeccable, the rooms are very comfortable, and all the staff proved to be extremely kind and helpful. A special thanks goes to the girls in the dining room service, always smiling, attentive, and professional.
The breakfast buffet is very rich, with a wide selection of fresh, quality products. The dinner also won us over every evening: compliments to the chef, who proposes truly excellent dishes, prepared with excellent raw materials. The rich appetizer buffet was also very much appreciated.
Traveling with a 3-year-old girl, we really appreciated the availability of the kitchen, which always prepared off-menu alternatives to satisfy her needs, welcoming every request of ours with great courtesy.
Finally, the location is perfect: quiet but just a few minutes' walk from the center of San Candido.
A stay that we will remember with pleasure and that will certainly make us return. Highly recommended!

Ideal vacation

We stayed for a week in this excellent hotel located at the edge of town with a view of the Baranci and the beautiful meadows that lead to Versciaco.
Close to the main square of San Candido but far from traffic and noise.
Excellent breakfasts and excellent dinners, very kind and always available staff.
Our room was very spacious and the balcony was well-equipped.
Recommended.

Great hotel for families with children

We have been going to the Hotel Brandl for several years during the carnival holidays. Our two children learn to ski at the Haunold. Cross-country skiers benefit from the large trails. In favourable snow conditions you can use the blue cross-country ski trail in front of the house. Otherwise you can set off on the Haunold towards Dobbiaco or Sesto. After skiing we like to use the in-house pool and sauna. In the evening there is an excellent buffet and menu. In the cosy rooms you finally relax and start the next day of your holiday with a rich breakfast buffet. We particularly appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere in the hotel. There is a playroom for the children where they can keep busy. The staff are very helpful and always have good tips for the holiday. If you are looking for a hotel for the family, you cannot avoid Hotel Brandl.
