Perfect stay

During the Vespa World days in 2014 we stayed here with a group of 8 people. The room we were in had two bedrooms and one shared bathroom. The rooms were very spacy and very, very clean. The building is really big and every room has a seperate terrace. Also a common terrace was available to sit together in the evenings. There is a very large garden in which you can relax. Since the owner lives there as well, they are very accessible and you can ask them almost anything. They were very friendly. The breakfast was superb. Mostly Italians breakfast is just a cup of coffee and a croissant, but this was elaborate with different sorts of bread, cheese, meat, melon, juices, coffee,...

Risotto Fest !

We have just returned from a visit to the Risotto Festival in Verona and stayed at the beautiful family run Otto Ducati d'Oro. It is one of the cleanest and most comfortable places I have stayed. The family made us most welcome and in particular Lydia and Veronica tended to our every need. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and breakfast was ideally situated for the risotto festival and a 20 minute car journey to Verona. We will definitely be returning !

Beautiful Italia !

We went to Isola della Scala for the Risotto Festival and chose Otto Ducati d'Oro as it was right in the middle of town - or so we thought ! It turned out to be right next door to the festival in a stunning location surrounded by rice fields and run by a charming family who treated us like royalty! The bed and breakfast is spotlessly clean and designed to a really high specification with each room being unique. Breakfast was unrushed and lush. The town is lovely and you must visit the festival which runs every year through the middle of September to October. Perfect risotto, Valpolicella and arancini ! Could be a fab location for touring the Lakes and Venice too. Visit Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, and enjoy gelato whilst watching the world go by. We will be back - thank you Lydia and Veronica x x x

Sun kissed and belly happy

I truly enjoyed my stay at Otto Ducati d'Oro. It is situated in a spacious property and surrounded by paddy fields. The region is known for popular variety of risotto rice.The owners live on the same premises and are always available for you. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. I also admired the attention to detail and cleanliness in the rooms.
We travelled to Lake Garda, Mantova, Verona and Tuscany while we were based at Otto Ducati d'Oro. I was also glad that I could go for my morning runs around the paddy fields. It felt like I was running right into a post card.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes for a calm and serene break.
