Very good and friendly welcome

Perfect position and beautiful view of the Lake. Very nice welcome, good breakfast and excellent dinner. I was with a group and some people needed special meals. The staff was very helpful and caring. Clean room in classic style with quite old furniture, renovated bathroom.

A little disappointed

Excellent location on the lake, courteous and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet. However, the hotel needs a thorough renovation and adequate maintenance. The room, quite spacious and with a large and comfortable bed, had unacceptably dirty curtains; the roller shutter of one of the three windows was broken; the outer knob of the front door of the room probably broke since it was not there (it was also missing in some other doors). Furniture now too old and not very functional. The bathroom is brand new and very clean. The price is justified only for the excellent location of the hotel. I expected better.

Ideal for visiting Ispra and its surroundings

The hotel has a wonderful view of the lake, the room, the bathroom (all modern) and the bed are very spacious. The room is clean and quiet, the lady at the reception very kind. The breakfast is varied, the quality could be improved with less packaged products, but it is decent. Attached to the Promenade of Love and a stone's throw from the town centre, it is an ideal hotel to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the surrounding areas! In the low season excellent value for money.

Deplorable

Good n bed and good bedding. However deplorable bathroom. Obvious lack of maintenance. Meals very bof. Order the day before and nothing else. Thursday evening we had for our table 4 times fish and 2 times meat. Our plates of fish are left with the fish.
We were travelling with a coach company and therefore could not change Pension
2 nights were enough

Worn hotel with friendly staff

With Nille's travels - had 6 nights with half board.
I had a single room that was large enough with a good 3/4 bed. There was only one window with a curtain that could not be drawn.
Room was clean, but the bathroom was not.
Dinner was boring without much greens. The breakfast was ok - but there was no variety.
The staff were friendly and helpful - but only a few spoke and understood English.
