Unique

A perfect stay!
Everything beautiful: the structure is well-kept, welcoming and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere. The food is simply superb, with great quality dishes and authentic flavours. The real added value, however, is the staff: professional, friendly and always available. Special thanks to Stefania, really fabulous, who with her attention and her smile makes the stay even more special. Villa Selene in Lanusei is a place to return without hesitation!

Bad, a real shame!

ATTENTION. The property is presented as a 4 star, in reality it IS NOT. Dilapidated, as a Sardinian I am ashamed of how a place can be kept open in the current conditions in which it finds itself. It is a property that has enormous potential, located in a panoramic point that has no equal, the coast is visible, nature is spectacular, the view breathtaking. The problem is the maintenance that is completely missing. We are talking about dated rooms, early 70s, never renovated in the furniture, old-fashioned and not very functional bathrooms, you can not take a shower in a bathtub and arch backwards because the water does not come. There's still the hand-crank flush in the toilet. Rusty and potentially dangerous outdoor coffee table. Not to mention the pool, access ramps with rusty bases, bleak spectacle and abandonment all around. Friendly and professional lady at reception. With so much regret I do not recommend this place to anyone and I hope for a serious intervention and an investment to bring the structure back to the glories of the past now distant. I would also like to highlight some situations of poor security which would require monitoring.

Horrible.

Bad to avoid, I had written a review but it was not published.
I don't know why.
Avoid .. even walled windows .. old throughout ... even coffee mold.
It is not possible to pay 170 euros for one night ............

Back to the past

Attracted by the photos and the good name this hotel had years ago, I decided to stay there for three days. Unfortunately I must say that I was not fully satisfied, the rooms were clean but very old and equipped with 70s furnishings, not very comfortable and functional, the panoramic view was very beautiful given the location of the structure, the tranquility, good breakfast but swimming pool aside the rest of the interiors and exteriors are in complete decay... crumbling basketball and tennis courts and brushwood everywhere, but what bothered me the most was having to pay for a room as much as a 4-star hotel, 110 euros per day (because that's how it's advertised ), when perhaps it barely has 1 star... I believe that passing off a hotel as 4 stars when it isn't is bordering on a scam.

Hotel in the middle of nature

The structure is surrounded by greenery and managed by very friendly staff, available for any request. The pool is wonderful and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Large free parking. A few minutes from the town of Lanusei and about 20 minutes from the beaches of Tortolì. Very pleasant stay, to be repeated!
