Excellent!

Magnificent Belle Époque hotel.
Professional, attentive, and clear receptionists. Breakfast to be enjoyed on a very pretty, tree-lined, and shaded terrace. Mostly composed of homemade cake, but also some fresh vegetables, plant-based milks, eggs, and sausages. Good coffee. The bread, juices, and pastries need improvement. A few cheeses and cold cuts of no great interest.
Nice infinity pool, unfortunately in the shade after 2:30 PM.
High-ceilinged room, super comfortable, huge stone (marble?) bathroom, excellent bedding. A 5-minute walk from the train and bus stations and 15 minutes from the city center. I had a great stay!

Not so grand

Faded grandeur, various problems such as the electricity going off, the lift not functioning and the pool needing urgent maintenance.
On the plus side it is close to the train station and the breakfast buffet was varied and generous.

staff lovely.
car park available which we used.
decent clean pool given the central location.
only a couple of “small” cons re the actual location- beside a government foreigner processing office. near some storage area of items that the foreigners sell : just made the footpath full on passing.

The hotel is well located, close to the historical center. The breakfast is good with a lot of options

Staff were fantastic, really helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing. No restaurant for dinner unfortunately but it's only a few minutes walk from the town. Pool was lovely but needed more loungers and umbrellas
