We had a great stay. Beautiful property, warm hosts and the pool came in good during the hot weather. Great place but you need a car.

Beautiful family run hotel

Had a lovely stay at La Preziosa. Its a beautiful family run hotel and everyone was very friendly. Our room, Lavender, was lovely, plenty of room for the three of us. Pool was a great bonus as it was so hot when we stayed. Julian was always helpful and happy, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a nice continental breakfast and we had lunch a few times in the garden. We had no problem getting taxi's into Lucca but a bit of a wait to get one back in the evenings. We did walk back one evening and it took 45 minutes. We walk a lot so it wasn't a problem for us. You can rent the bikes from the hotel and bike into Lucca in about 10 mins which is a nice easy ride. Definitely recommend La Preziosa if you are looking for a happy, friendly hotel to stay.

Too expensive and poor

Not the money worth 350 euros
No air conditioning in all rooms ( 35 gr. outside)
However, we got another room as we refused to stay in this room!
Wifi did not work
Breakfast from 08:30
and really ring, not fresh bread mm

Amazing spot to relax

There are not enough superlatives to adequately express how great Preziosa is. Our second visit. Touring Rome, Bologna, and Florence like crazy Americans then 3 days totally relaxed with Gunther, Barbara, and Julian who treated the 4 of us as family. Day trips from Preziosa to Pisa, Luca's walled city, and Cinque Terre.

Meticulously maintained

Beautifully renovated villa on the outskirts of Lucca.
Very well-kept interiors and rooms
The garden with a pool is also very well maintained.
The owners are very welcoming and kind.
Good quality-price ratio.
