A night clean hotel with a good breakfast, but the communication with the hotel was horrendous and the parking not short of a nightmare.

Excellent hotel

We stayed only 1 night at this hotel but had a great time. Super central location on piazza broletto. They provide a ztl pass at 5€ per day x who has the car. Spacious room, spotless, quiet, available kettle, coffee maker, herbal teas and pods, small fridge, slippers and hairdryer. Hearty and varied breakfast, sweet and salty, with products x intolerances. Much more than a 2-star hotel. Highly recommended!

Parking near to the hotel on a white parking spot. The staff arranged electronic permit for 5€. Arrange this before you arrive. The hotel is right in the centre of a pedestrianised area. Fab location.

The location is at the city center. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast time normally starts at 8am. When the staff member learned I need to leave at 7:30am next morning, they served breakfast at 7am for me. They also recommended a restaurant that serves very good local food and helped me make a reservation. I will definitely stay Hotel Leon D'Oro again when I visit Mantua next time.

Mantua to see

I would give more stars if it was possible, in the city center, convenient to get there given the possibility to buy the pass x ztl, warm, well stocked both in the bathroom and in the room utensils... I'm odd that it has only 2 stars. All the friendly and efficient staff, I recommend it and if we come back, I'll be back.
