Excellent experience.

We stayed at the Hotel Desiree in a comfortable room consisting of two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a small balcony. Spacious closets and a recently renovated bathroom.
The complex was equipped with a nice saltwater pool, a gym corner that needs a renovation, and tennis courts. The beach and the sea, just a few meters from the room, are certainly an added value.
We had half board. High-quality breakfast and dinner, impeccable service.
Only downside, the bar is a bit expensive.

Dream vacation on Elba

The hotel is a splendid property in the Spartaia area, in Procchio (Marciana). Guests are immediately impressed by the wonderful location and by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. You can perceive the seriousness and attention to detail from staff members who express their experience in the tourism and hotel industry to the fullest. The presence of the beach directly at the foot of the property and top-tier cuisine make the vacation heavenly, to the point that one hopes it never comes to an end. The stay is suitable for every type of guest, especially families. A tourist experience absolutely recommended to anyone who wants to experience the scenic beauty of Elba in a very pleasant hotel setting.

I expected better.

I expected better; it is a 2/3 star, no more.
The room is dated.
Breakfast and dinner are excellent.
The view is breathtaking, the beach and sea are stunning.
Pool with salt water.
Playground for children.
A bit pricey for my budget.
They need to improve in many areas.
Greeting is important; sometimes it is overlooked.

Worth a visit

Comfortable and pleasant infrastructure. Tasty cuisine both in the evening and breakfast. Good bed and room with all amenities. Snel internet. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Good wine list.
For disabled people this is NOT recommended. There are many stairs and no elevator
