Marina di Massa

Simple hotel but with all the necessary comforts as well as a super giant screen TV, clean and friendly staff. The strong point is definitely the optimal location, a few steps from the beach and the center and a pastry shop breakfast with croissants and cakes of all kinds. Chiara & Mauri

Expensive hotel considering the state of things. Moist room despite AC. No one spoke english but they tried their best! Google translate was useful.
Breakfast was mostly sweet things and no fresh bread.

Dated

Very dated hotel. Small bathroom and I mean small. Breakfast was blah. Bed hard and only one very flat pillow for each of us. On the plus side close to a free beach and lots of amenities.
Tip - shut the bathroom door and put the toilet lid down. It cuts down on the smell from drains.

Close to a free beach. Other than that very dated. Bathroom very small; and I mean small. Breakfast blah. Very noisy throughout the night with couples arguing. It did have air con which was noisy.
Tip- close the bathroom door and put toilet lid down because it cuts down on the awful sewer smell.

Great Location, Rough Edges

Bar closed, reception closed, parking haphazard. Not really what we hoped to find. Luckily a person was available to check us in but good thing we didn't hope for a drink or even a bottle of water. The room was nice but the seating was a bed, or some very small chairs. It had a fridge, tiny one, on the floor. Parking is free, but basically you'd better get there before the maybe 12 spaces fill up or you're own your own.
