Wonderful hotel in Marche

We stayed two nights at this wonderful hotel, one of the evenings we got to enjoy a fantastic dinner composed by Peter and Carina and besides that some of the best breakfasts we had were served. The room we had was very comfortable and lovely decorated and had products from Acqua di Parma.
We had trouble with a wrecked rental car and got incredibly much help from Peter and Carina, fantastic!

A lovely boutique hotel with an outstanding setting in marvellous Le Marché.

We stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel for several nights at the end of May. The setting was simply amazing, high up and looking across to several hill top villages and the Sibylline mountains. Our suite was delightful and had a lovely terrace where we could eat breakfast. A little lower down and almost out of sight, was a lovely pool which was perfect to return to after a day out. Peter and Carina are very experienced and accomplished chefs and we were lucky to get to eat their delicious dinners on several evenings plus fantastic breakfasts. They were excellent hosts and gladly helped us with recommendations for sightseeing and local restaurants. In addition, they have produced a magazine for their guests to use containing all their tips for the Le Marché region. The region is beautiful, offering everything from coastal delights in the east, historical hilltop villages inland and spectacular mountains further west. Urbino and Ascoli Piceno were also fantastic cities. There were few tourists when we visited and most were Italians. This hotel and the region are very special places and we are so glad we visited them.

The Shangri-La in Marche

Enjoyed restful days in a rolling landscape and rustic food prepared from local ingredients and freshly picked spices. Wow.

A trip and a destination beyond the ordinary, UNIQUE, in every way!

Thank you Carina and Peter, you and your Casa San Ruffino is unique.
The location, surroundings, house, rooms, breakfasts, dinners, pool and the way you take care of us all are unique. The proximity to picturesque villages with incredibly nice residents. Just enough shopping and nice restaurants with fantastic food and wines of the highest class. Travel here before more people find their way here. Thank you again for letting us stay with you.

The breakfasts and dinner’s was magnificent absolutely world class!
Lovely views over the surrounding landscape, Comfortable rooms! Beautiful garden and swimming pool area! Thanks also for great advice on shopping panama hats in the village nearby
