Holidays in Tuscany

I stayed at this Hostel with my family for a week. The environment is spacious, well organized and clean. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Also well maintained and clean bathrooms and showers. Recommended for both families with children and larger groups.

In the green of Maremma

Structure surrounded by greenery, managed by volunteers Onlus di grande gentile.pulitissimo.consigkiamo. near the sea 25 minutes from Follonica and 10 minutes from the lake, we ate at the community center together in Niccioleta with pizza in the wood oven, always managed by them. It's delicious.

Hostel surrounded by greenery, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Dining room available to guests with refrigerators, electric oven and bar corner. We stopped for a few days with the possibility of reaching the sea in less than half an hour.

Not meeting expectations

Hostel la Miniera, in general, is in a beautiful location, in the greenery and silence.
Too bad that the price charged is not adequate to the services offered. The room we stayed in, the pyrite, had a strong musty smell, we wanted to sleep then with the window open, but it was not equipped with a mosquito net. Overall the night went badly, between mosquitoes and bad smell. In addition, the structure seems very uncrowded. Old showers with slow drainage and floods easily.
Too bad because the place has great potential, small improvements would be enough, a price more appropriate to the structure and maybe a common area to the steto to allow guests to cook or heat more easily. Especially considering that space is plentiful.
Overall, for 65 euros without breakfast and with the structure described, I would not stay there again.
