Lonely and quiet
Rooms and surroundings are recommended, however, there is a kitchen outside that guests can use.
Great for people who want peace and quiet. It is best to shop beforehand and cook for yourself.
Breakfast is manageable but good.

A B&b immersed in nothingness.
The so-called road is at first a stream bed paved with bumpy stones (I don't stone, big stones) challenging even for an off-roader and then a long dirt stretch of that uncompacted earth that becomes volatile dust and enters you everywhere (if it doesn't rain, imagine if it rains!) The road must be crossed (4 or 5 meters) also to go down to the sea using steps of large stones resting on the cliff of about 2 meters obviously without any handrails (not a good situation for two elderly people).
The room, then, at first glance seems acceptable but a quick glance shows a corner that should serve as a walk-in closet but is open without even a curtain to not show the clothes hanging. The bed consists of two mattresses resting on some pallets that have been given a coat of white paint, very naive, very country but with a thousand cracks and holes that, of course, serve as dens for many insects two of which (two cheerful spiders) welcomed us jumping on pillows. Even tiny pseudo bedside tables are made like that.
Breakfast, from 8.30 to 10 (at that time it's almost lunchtime for me) necessarily on a table outside (flies? mosquitoes?) because there is no table in the room and not even space to put it (it's a B & B you will have to have lunch or dinner in the room sometimes). The kitchen (20 euros for the whole period) is equipped with very black cookware for multiple use, always outside.
Of all this there is not the slightest hint in the description of the structure. It's like when the greengrocer is smart: he offers you beautiful fruit then you take it home and, who knows why, it's rotten.
Yet I am from Messina, I have known for a lifetime the "rustic" habits of the inhabitants of that place. I had also been warned that the place was not adequate but I trusted more of the beautiful things seen on the site: big mistake, it was smoke in the eyes!
We stayed about a quarter of an hour in the room to realize the situation and decided it was no place for us. We therefore expressed our objections and our disappointment to Mrs. Giada to whom we asked to meet us with a compromise solution that seemed fair to us: we would have left her the entire down payment that was more than 50% and she would have waived the balance so with certainty, given the demand in this period, would have found other guests (perhaps more "rustic" than us).
With the steadfastness (arrogance?) typical of those who know that it will come out because the interlocutor is surrendering he understood no reason and allowed us to pay "only" half of the residue. He basically profited from our misadventure and then, I'm sure, re-rented the room.
Beyond the economic aspect the most serious thing for me is that I should have, for my state of health and on the advice of the doctors, enjoy a couple of weeks of sun and sea (what's better than the Messina sea?) and instead I not only suffered damage (stress) but, thanks to Mrs. Giada, I had to go back to Pescara kicking my butt (additional stress). Damage and mockery!
I would have liked to add some photos to document that I do not speak falsehoods but I did not make any because our desire was to escape as soon as possible from that squalor.

Nightmare B&B

The road must be crossed (4 or 5 meters) also to go down to the sea using steps of large stones resting on the cliff of about 2 meters obviously without any handrails, non-existent beach, pulled away from the sea.
The room, then, at first glance seems acceptable but a quick glance shows a corner that should serve as a walk-in closet but is open without even a curtain to not show the clothes hanging from a stick.

Money wasted and holidays ruined. DO NOT BE ENCHANTED BY THE PHOTOS

saluti
